That would be shocking, and I don't think even the smug academy members have the gall for that. They'll snub Scorsese for director nom for their ounce of flesh for Wolf, but not a nom for Leo.

Why do they not give the winners enough time to say whatever they want???

I seriously don't fucking get it.Its so embarrassing when music starts playing to shut the winners up.

Cut the fat from the shows and let the winners talk and say what they want ffs.
I specially hate if the "not so hot" nominations get even lesser time, although it is a much greater achievement for them. Yes it sucks, but like everything it still is a business where they have to return money, so one ad break to the next and hopefully no overrun.
