Only thing that matters to me: How is the selection compared to Spotify?
Also Spotify android app is an atrocity
Not sure why I'd use this over Spotify or Xbox Music on my laptop. Free with an ad every 5 songs is better than not free.
I'll at least do the free trial. I am constantly annoyed that I have to jump through so many hoops to get my itunes music to play on my droid phone.

Couldn't you have uploaded it all to Google Music and stream/download it before?
I honestly didn't think about it. Would that work with iTunes files? Please tell me I have been stupid this whole time.
I use Rhapsody, but then again I'm a RealNetworks employee and so I have a free sub from when we used to own them.I've been using Rhapsody (which no one else seems to use lol) but for potentially $8 vs. $10 a month, having Google's unlimited selection of music as well as your own downloaded library in one spot, and hopefully a faster turnaround for albums since their initial release (example: Taylor Swift's Red album just came out to the services this week even though it was released in October and The Black Keys' 2011 El Camino album is still missing from both) should hopefully sway me to Google.
Just hurry up with that mobile app and offline downloads!

I'm not sure, I get my music from amazon. If you go to play.google.com and click upload music you can download a small program that you point at your music folder it will work it out
Yup. The program actually has an option where you just select "iTunes" and it will do all the rest. Super easy.
Use a proxy (like this: http://hola.org/) to access google music and create an account. Once an account is made, you don't have to use a proxy anymore. So this is definitely not working in Canada right?

WTF
WTF x 2
OMFG WTF
How have I missed this?
At least I am not the only one who missed the memo for this. This is the best day ever.
LOL! I've been using that service since it came out. Every once in a while, I'll explain it to a friend/acquaintance and watch as their eyes slowly open...and even then they are convinced that there is a catch.
Debating if I want to try this out or not. I already use spotify and itunes on my phone, so this would be strictly for my pc...
Hmm...

Awesome news. I've been eyeing Spotify for awhile, but if this is cheaper than I'll definitely go with this. The new Google Play Music app is gorgeous, too. Way better than how it looked before.
Question, though. I've never used a streaming music service like this. If I download a song and then let my subscription lapse, what happens to that song? Will it still show up in my library but not be playable? Does it autodelete? I have no idea what happens.
Why not use Spotify for your pc too?
This. Wow, the app is really nice now. It's incredibly fast too as is the Google Music web app. I'll wait a bit longer before cancelling Spotify but so far this All Music is a winner. The new Google Play Music app is gorgeous, too. Way better than how it looked before.
You get a 30 day free trial, so why not try it out?

Oh I have a google music account. I mean the All Access thing.
Try in browser. So I installed the app, and it asks me to trial All Access.
But I get this:
LOL. I think I have mentioned it a few times in other theads when people keep complaining how they can't move their iTunes library to Android. They are just all mp3 files sitting on your computer anyway.
Google needs to advertise Google Music a bit better.

I get the same error :/
I get a Server error. The thing is, it should work here (France). I'll try again tomorrow. It 'works' for me, it's asking for my credit card info - but the credit card info I currently have is no good - when I try to add a new card the country option can't include canada (which is the problem).
But you can also pay via google play card - but I have no idea how to get one of those.
So if any peeps can give me some advice on how to get payments working from canada, I'd owe ya. Either some online gift-credit card, or a place I can pick up play cards in toronto.
I'm looking into the former now.
