New "Photo Stream" feature coming to Gran-turismo.com in a March update. Basically any photo that's shared on the game will be made publicly available on the website.

With the coming Gran Turismo 5 update planned for March 2012, we will be starting a new service on gran-turismo.com worldwide, called "Gran Turismo 5 Photo Stream".

In GT5 Photo Stream, photographs taken in the photo mode of Gran Turismo 5 and set to "Share" will be shown in a list on a webpage, and be made possible to view by anyone.

The photographs will continue to change periodically, the online ID's of the photographer will NOT be shown or made public, and there is no evaluation system or the like for the photographs. This is a service which simply introduces what kinds of photographs are being taken in Gran Turismo 5 by players around the world.
Please be aware that any photographs set to "Share" after the start date of this service will be released publically on the web by GT5 Photo Stream.

We hope you'll look forward to the start of this new service.



* Photographs that had been set to "Share with Friends" before the start date of this service will not be shown in GT5 Photo Stream.
* Due to limitations of time and the number of photograph displayable, not all photographs set to "Share" may be shown in GT5 Photo Stream.

Oooooo, new GT5 Photostream coming with a future update. It's pretty barebones. Sharing your photo will upload a copy to the GT5's public photostream. You can view photos uploaded by players, but there is no rating system or ID attached to each photo. It's really just that, a stream of pictures. Sounds cool nonetheless.

Kind of sucks that its just photos. Can't search by user or anything. Would of been nice to have your own online photo album that people can see.

Step in the right direction, but they should hold contests or something.
Still, might be fun just to see random shots from people. I wonder how many photos are taken daily by users.

I hope PD updates the online dealership today or tomorrow and it's a better update than the last one. I've got 20M credits burning a hole in my wallet and I'm itching to buy some race cars.

I wish there was an option to make the opponents use the same tyre as yourself. I think GT4 did that automatically, it made for much better racing.

I played GT 1 and 2, skipped 3 and 4, and impulse bought the XL edition of this last week.

So much I forgot about this game. It's a little overwhelming.

Gran Turismo was the only racing game I ever really enjoyed (outside of Mario Kart). Does everyone do cockpit mode when they race? In the old games I used to always prefer the camera angle from outside and above the car, but since I have to relearn everything anyway, should I put the time in to figuring out cockpit mode? I want to do it the "right" way.

Cockpit view is nice, but unlike a real car you can't "adjust the seat" and get a proper view. So you're kinda limited compared to the other views since you can't look left/right without issue and can't look "down the hood" for a wider view angle.

There are 3 different field of views for cockpit mode though.

Is there an option to reset the driving aids? I drove some online races and all options are off and that is not that funny with just a gamepad.

p.s. I always dreamed of doing a stop motion super 8 porno featuring Barbie & Ken but some one beat me to it, damn!

A couple weeks ago GT5 randomly started with no sound when I booted it. The XMB did but not in GT5. I would quit to the XMB and reboot and it would have sound. No big deal. Well, now it happens about 50% of the time. It used to be rare. Is my ps3 about to die? Disc about to die?

(launch 60gb, 30' hdmi from monoprice, Asus 23" LCD HD monitor)

When I used to have freezing issues, I would revert to a old save and delete my game install. Then re-install and start from the old save. No idea if this will solve your issues.

Oh yeah! Just got gold on all 3 Vettel challenges! I was close to breaking my wheel in anger after spinning at the very last corner of Suzuka a few times, but I made it in the end.
The only thing I have left in A-Spec is the Endurance Series, how did you guys tackle those? It'll probably take me weeks to do the 24hour ones.
