You're in like the exact same boat as me. Just hit level 100 on the sword and I have a rusted 1 star sword and missing around the same amount of components lol.
Hoping I can complete the light extreme daily. Haven't tried yet. You should have no problems with it.
The silver certs are going to be a challenge though. Don't see many proto bahamut or grande orders.

Are rusted weapons needed to change the element or is it only for the GW character?
Extreme aint the problem, just need to do it when it hits again (next thursday?).
Going to stalk tweetdeck for those Baha raids. "Funny" thing is that I have almost 40 rusted weapons, 2 Bahamut weapons and only 2 rusted harps.
If you know how to use tweetdeck it is easy to stalk bahamut raids.

Edit: I know how to use tweet deck, and I think I even found the string of kanji to search for but I'm always on mobile
not very easy to do. Guess I'll need to sit on the computer and try.

Is the GW weapon consumed when you 'create' the GW character that belongs to it, or do you get to keep it?
Anyone up for posting a Tweetdeck tutorial? No idea how/what it is

Wouldn't mind skipping casino forever except it's virtually mandatory for any reasonable amount of progression since once you hit it you're set for 5 pots and 3 Animas a day.
In other words, either you sink an (arbitrary, good luck) amount of time into it, or you're gimped.
I guess the other option would be whaling purple in the face for a lifetime's supply of Bronze moons.

I am up to about 3000 gems again from finishing missions. I am tempted to pull again... but I know that just getting more inventory space would probably make me happier in the long run. Odds are so low on an SSR...
She isn't S tier, but is pretty good. I'm currently using her in my main team. She has a 5th star (not all characters can be fully uncapped yet), Overdrive bar cut, def down debuff and a box to stand on. She is one of my favourite characters.
So I'm sure it's fine but just to confirm, I can start skilling up the light GW sword and it will retain the skill levels when I change it to wind (eventually lol).
I have enough materials to get it to 6 right now. The last 4 will take forever.
I need to spend some more time doing extreme allo to get the last 10 mil points for all the rewards but I've really lost motivation on the event since getting the last sword. Lol.

Once (if) I get my last harp, I will 100% be done with the GW event. Tired of that fight. Rest of the rewards aren't worth the grind imo. Energy is better spent elsewhere...
But but two premium tickets!

What do you mean by reduce? There is a way to dismantle weapons?
Rare weapons can't be reduced.
Rare weapons with skills are useful for leveling skills on SSRs (there's a list of the requirements for each level... somewhere). Skillless rares can be fed to whatever, really: other weapons, characters, your guild, sold off for gold, whatever.
10 million points more!!! Though I do get 2m+ from a nightmare fight.

Eh, not really feeling this event. Eye takes 10 minutes to kill and pretty much full attention, 900+ tickets on the second box and nada, too weak to do any of the raid stuff, and for what, maybe one more harp?
Just gonna give up. I'd rather get through the story and farm Tiamat than maybe get one piece of a guild war weapon that I'd be nowhere close to getting finished. Plus this down time is really bad for my schedule.

Rolled for about 2 hours last night. I've got two accounts now with SSRs.
1) Magisa (also pulled SR Elta)
2) Cerberus (Heard dark is hard to start with and there are much better attackers)
Not sure if I should start playing with the Magisa one and using the ticket to buy Percival as that would make a pretty good start to a fire team no?
However many people I spoke with yesterday were really hitting home that I should be re-rolling until either Korwa or Anchira drops and then pick up the other one with the ticket as they are LegFes only and now is the time to get em.
GAFs thoughts?

if you can get those, they are great. But that's so very difficult with the limited rolls you are given.
That said, it doesn't hurt to continue a little longer. You never know what might come around.

Yeah, I have yet to gain as many points as you have, but since I'm still new the battles require a lot of time out of me. Then add on the fact that its grindy I decided to opt out this time. I know I should be a lot better off next time it comes around. Which I'm okay waiting for.
Also horrible timing for me, I've been really busy.
I look forward to the next time it rolls around!
I'd say definitely don't buy the ticket yet. If you're tired of rerolling, just play for a while first, hopefully there's an event for more rolls in the future and you may want reroll again to play those accounts instead.
Alternatively I'm sure there's people selling accounts with a lot more SSRs out there for less money... don't know how risky those are though.

But yeah, there's always next Guild Wars. My team isn't as strong as it should be anyways. So I'm using this time to farm magnas weapons and go through Story. I'll be better prepared next time over no doubt.
That was me last GW. I pulled almost 1000 times with no weapon and just didn't have the party to really grind it out efficiently. In the time since I've made a much stronger party and have the resources to get what I need.

I didn't even get any GW weapons on my first GW event, it's not really worth it unless you can kill the VH eye within a minute. I'd say you're making the right choice just farming Tiamat instead.
You just need a stronger party. If you only started with the english patch (like me), then this event is hard for us to do effectively. Everyone does a billion times more damage than me. So either you can grind it out hardcore (what I did and it sucks), or you can just do what you can now and then tackle it much more efficiently next time.

Well, finally got my first bow from the GW. Now I'm in no real rush to get another, so I'll go at this event a bit more passively...

You also need a good amount of pots to get all 4 weapons even if you do have enough firepower. It's unlikely for new players to do it unless they've been planning this for more than a week in advance.
I'm the other way. Got my second bow yesterday, working to get my third, but WIND is my main element, so I need to go hard this time to try and get them fast. Might not have the team next month
We did Fire last month, so if it follows any kind of logical rotation, so as to avoid screwing everyone, it won't be your weak element.
Edit: Did Yoda always refresh his stacks when killing something with his ougi?
No, it's 3 turns. Auto-revive resets the timer.

i actually went and looked at the past guild wars to see if there's some kind of pattern for next month's element
so assuming they'll do the element that hasn't been used in a while and no silly thing like collabs or seasonal related events to screw up the choices, i'm guessing the next guild wars boss' element will be wind
