The "buy 3; rng 1" is an awful system.
They never did this until the Cinderella event.
(well for the past 10 months of events that I've played anyway)
Seems they really want us to grind away even more...

this event is despair-inducing at the number of pots i'm throwing at it with nothing to show

If you don't have any better weapons than keep and MLB the SR weapons. You'll get a ton of them from farming magna raids, and you need several hundred of them to level up SSR weapon skills anyway.
I got the summon earlier today. I know that feeling.Better than the freaking summon.
Already can MLB 2 of them but only 1 collosus staff drops
Dont even know what i should do with all these ssr summon dupes.

I just realized that I don't even need to farm for Ifrit anymore, Collo Magna summon is already better unless I grind out 4* Ifrit but then that time would be better spent farming more Magnas.
If you are at that point you might want to consider getting the 5 Mithra anima before the half AP event ends, even if you aren't going to grind a GW character yet.

You are lucky. I still haven't seen it once, I think I will complete Wind pool way before Earth pool, even if I farm Yggdrasil way more than Tiamat.

Generally your bahamut weapon will appear in every element grid so you stick the pluses there.
I will guess that's because it's a weapon you can use in any pool.

I think I've fought Mithra once, does the story mission drop the animas or is that from a later unlocked quest?
The Extreme trials for each element are the most efficient way, they drop between 1-3 scales per run.
Just after I finish it, haha. Oh well, I'll re-read it later on.

The Extreme Trials should be the 40ap ones, they are under the special tab on and rotate every few days. They're 3-stage quests and the boss has about 1.4 million HP.
Got Mithra, but i think it will be a long tome till i need the anime.
Gonna focus on this event katana first.

Possibly, but the Normal Gacha weapons are really difficult to MLB compared to Unknown collab weapons.
Going by earlier posts, Mithra showdown seems to be the only way to get them (it should be on Golonzo Island, ch.28 zone).

You still have to hit the 3%/15% to get an SSR/SR from a premium draw.
After you have every ssr Omega summon mlb.
Use rupees to those ssr and reduce them. Same to sr Omega summons.

It should replace (baha treated as normal too) at least one normal weapon. Unless you go for Primal setup and for this you need Primal summon which is hard to get (and hard to MLB too).

Unless my casino luck turns, I'm pretty close to replacing anat as my main summon with my MLB tiamat. I just swapped my 50% boost anat with tiamat and saw nearly identical damage numbers in the quest I was farming. I still need to use an 80% anat friend summon for max damage but I'm right on the cusp of using my own tiamat it looks like.
Good to know, just need to grind harder now to get that last katana.
Bought another Collo staff with those hard earn renown points, hope it is worth it in the future.
I once saw a primal schedule here iirc.
Anyone know when will and which element for the next one?

You mean Cocytus, Ifrit, Corrow etc? They are not Primal, they are Element summons

So I'm running a Dark team. I currently have a Baha summon and Narumeia (Draph). I will pick up Vampy (Unknown) in a Start Dash most likely, so the third slot will go to whoever (in the far flung future it will probably filled by Six). The two weapons I'm looking at is either the sword (15% HP and ATK for humans and Draph), or the axe (30% ATK to Draphs). I don't know how much impact more health will have or if I should take higher damage over it.

Not worth it. Picking both (30% and 15%) is mostly fine unless you are min-maxing, but picking a single 15% one is not worth it, IMO.
edit: Well, maybe if you want to eventually get the 30%. Still, I would go for the axe first unless you had a 2humans 2Draph spread, in which case the single-race Baha weapons aren't very efficient.

That's part of the 4-guardian events, but those don't actually drop the summons. The summons just come from Gacha.
Yeah Axe seems to be the best bet, though I would aim to get the Sword later. After I forge my baha weapons it will be back to grinding Celeste Omegas

I think heavenly beasts event is every 1.5-2 months. But as far as I know you can't get Primal summon from there (you do fight them although).
The only way to get it is gacha, you can't even surprise ticket them, all Primal summons are exceptions along with Lucifer, Bahamut and Order Grande.
