Some confusion going around for this guild wars and GAFantasy, so I'm doing a small write up to clear the air a bit. I wanted it to be a lot bigger and more detailed but after writing it the whole thing was just a big mess going nowhere so I'm just doing some bullet points/
- We're sitting out of the May 23 fight. We will be going for the next guild wars, once it's announced.
- Kenji asked for some members, including me, to go over to cypher for this guild wars to assist them in qualifying, a few from Fantasy have accepted to help out. I declined as I'm the leader of the crew. The plan is for them to come back after the war is done. Since we will be gunning for guild wars next time this is a one-time deal of sorts. I made it clear we are our own thing and are not to be used to groom strong members to slot into cypher to ensure their war success. We'll help but within reason.
- Kenji and I weren't 100% clear with each other and a few things happened before they should have, so we made a lot of things unclear and confusing to our members. Sorry about that.
That's it in a nutshell.
As for my members, since we are going to try for qualifying, a few things will need to happen:
- Everyone needs to be on discord so we can plan soul balms feeds, nightmare runs and other things
- 10 million points per person is the goal for the first day. Get your best team ready. If we make it in, I'll expand our strategy a bit.
We'll still have the general GAF GBF discord, which you are encouraged to use. We'll have a server, not a channel, on the side for Guild Wars to use for planning and other ways for people to check my messages to them, instead of the in-game message system which limits you to 140 characters a message.

Does this game not support Google Play credit? I tried purchasing coins but it says the currency isn't supported. I'm from Canada.
I just bought coins with play credit but I am in the US. Maybe Canada is blocked?

Simple answer is Yoda.
He makes life easy. But he also makes you too overreliant on him and harder to transfer to midterm teams.
Otherwise pick someone who will fit into (probably longterm) goal team.
I used mine on Yoda and don't regret it one bit, even though my heart kept telling me to pick a waifu. Yoda is almost comically overpowered for the early game, with his charge attack that does 999999 damage when executed while fully shrouded.
Thanks to that, I'm often able to get nice exp in co-op and omega raids.

Any GAF crews have a spot open?
I'm considering picking the GW dagger this time around, in order to eventually farm a cosmos dagger. I do have one question regarding weapon mastery though:
DF can use both daggers and swords. If I were to equip a sword, would weapon mastery boost both daggers and swords, or would it only boost swords?

Should have called it proficiency.
I mean that 20% stat boost that applies to weapons the avatar (and rest of the characters) are proficient in. I think the EMP is a different multiplier.

I think I've boiled down what every story cutscene in the game ends up being.

I love how Rosetta is the first character in the party that doesn't call Vyrn a lizard, and then at one point someone does, he says he isn't, and she's in the background like "wait what"

Is it possible to do just fine in this game without the casino? Because I can handle grinding but this casino stuff is grade-a bullshit.

Rosetta has turned out to be one of my more favorite characters in the story. I hope to get her SSR version someday.

I've been having a lot of problems with the Granblue app the whole day. Keep getting a network error once every minute or two. The app will take forever to load between buttom presses. Like, if I attack, it could take up to 30 seconds to actually execute it, or the app will just error me. Anyone know how to fix this? Tried clearing the cache already.
It's also possible to 'do fine' without daily Twitter refreshes.
You're just going to be at a severe disadvantage without 3x gold anima, 5 pots and 10 berries every day.
Those 5 pots are literally 20h50m of stamina you're missing out on per day. (Well, multiply by 2/3 if you wanna get technical and factor in the monthly cap)

Not just you. I tried to play all day today but made zero progress cause I kept erroring out of the game. Pretty much gave up on getting a 4th Katana drop thanks to that.

I gave up on getting a Red Sun to drop. If I feel that desperate to MLB it, I'll use a gold bar wayyyyyy down the line in the future (even though it's not worth a gold bar). But for now, I just gonna compartmentalize my completionist mindset and focus on other things. I need to take advantage of the half AP for story quests before it ends.

It is possible, but you will give up a lot of progression speed.
Casino provides:
- AP/EP potions to do a little bit more every day
- 3 gold anima for each element that you will need to farm yourself otherwise
- Skillup stones of equivalent of 30 SR weapons per month. Skillup fodder is constantly in need and this is a nice bonus.
- SR uncap stones. These are extremely hard to get otherwise, and you need them to uncap cap carbuncles and stuff like white rabbit/mushroom girl (getting even one copy of these summons is the grind of it own category, and going for uncap with copies will be cery harsh)

That's way too much stuff I'd be forfeiting so I guess I'm stuck playing all these bullshit mini-games till a super bingo or something.
Sucks, I can handle grinding because no matter what you're making progress. This casino stuff, it's still gambling so even with all the tips you can, and I'm sure we all have, put a lot of time into it can and come out with less than what you started.
This game's awesome but boy does it love sabotaging itself.

I only do enough poker to get berries and AP pots daily. That's it. I hate the casino grind and I'm willing to sacrifice those other rewards if it means enjoying this game while keeping my sanity.
