I was wondering the same thing.
Very informative. GTA online sounds insane!
My hype level is rising. I usually don't play online. But this is an exception.
I know there will be server issues. Hopefully, there won't be system lock-ups.

GTA V o'clock said it's 55 MB patch on 360. All data is on disk already
55MB? That seems pretty damn small. I know it's the existing world but still...

Seems big to me. I was expecting a couple MBs. Practically everything should have already been coded into the game when the discs were printed.

Tomorrow is the last day before I have to go to university again. So I'll play it the whole day.

I recall IV online being patchy on release. But you could still get a game with perseverance.

Shouldn't they know exactly how many copies have been sold of gta 5, thus having as many servers as they need for a flawless first day? I don't know anything about how much work it cost to spin up a few more servers. Is there any reason to really belive tho should go poorly other then sim city and diablo 3 both shitting the bed at launch. I mean call of duty always works day one doesn't it?
If we're all super negative and lower our expectations, if it actually works, it'll be fantastic!

About to finish the SP GTA V on my PS3, however, I play almost all my MP games on 360. I hope there will be some GTA V online reviews, because I might double dip when the 360 version will perform better online.

While I love the show and how informative and excited they get, last episode they were making fun of all the "hyperbole" coming from sites like IGN. Now we get in this episode from them... "GTA Online has the potential to be the end of games." Christ, I laughed out loud.

I think the thing that has me maybe the most excited about GTA Online is that there seems to be the potential for a Midnight Club-esque Capture The Flag mode in the near future given just some of the details that have been released. Racing through the city in teams escorting a flag carrier down through tricky alleys, high speed flag steal attempts, fake outs, the initial race to the flag--all super fun and will be amazing on a map the scale of LS.
While maybe not accurate of what CTF could be like in GTAO, Midnight Club II CTF was amazing.
