Just get the one where your friends are at. That's why I went for the 360 version.
Otherwise I would have been all over that PS3 version.

miami vice, carlitos way and heck you can throw in there breaking bad catches the atmosphere perfectly
I should probably watch it too. Always heard so much talk about it but could never be bothered to rent it.

They set the bar so high with TLaD, TBoGT, and Undead Nightmare, that I'm not sure WHY they would scale back for their crown jewel (GTA V). I would gladly pay $30 or even $40 for an excellent GTA V DLC expansion. I'm sure most mainstream cats wouldn't pay that much, but there's got to be a large market still for at least the $20 price point.

Just completed GTA IV finally. First full playthrough. I always used to get to Little Jacob then get bored. Glad I did it, the last 4/5 hours were much better than the rest of the game though.
Locking onto enemies has come a long way
Felt I owed it to myself to clock it before getting V. Now I'm hyped. I'm convinced it's the grey, bland textures that turn people off just like skyrim. As soon as I saturated the colours a bit in settings, places like Chinatown etc. looked fantastic. Blood was OTT and as a result I just enjoyed it more.
After watching the live stream earlier I am really looking forward to this now. It's like they've realised what was wrong with IV and improved every element to its maximum.

Exactly what I did as well. Mostly in preparation for multiplayer, but I know I'll be spending so much time just exploring in Single Player!
Go and watch HEAT ! you can do nothing wrong with it as is one of the best crime thriller ever made!
Going for The Dark knight is not the real thing ( even though it is a very good movie, it does not stand beside Heat)
Edit : Dont you guys mention Dont mention Miami vice with those classics in one sentence
i know some people like it but it is such a dull movie compared to the other movies listedone of the best decisions you did today ! ( not saying that everything you did was wonrg lol

Tuesday can't get here soon enough, but what's the hype going to be like in two weeks when online is about to launch? I can't wait to plan elaborate heists with the NeoGAF crew.
I'm especially excited to see what R* has done with the bad sport points. My biggest frustration with playing any game online has been people who quit if they're losing or in general just try to ruin other people's experience. It will be interesting to see how the system R* implemented prevents that (or tries to).

Ah man I should watch Collateral again. It's been a long, long time. One of my favourite films.

Looks like amazon shipped to Northern Ireland on Friday (Copies arrived today), I got mine sent there with free day one delivery and then had Parcel Motel send it to the south

Has Amazon shipped for anyone in the US or do they wait till day before release? I've never pre ordered online. I don't trust Amazon to get it here on time if they ship it Monday, I might cancel and go digital.

So who else pre-ordered the 360 version from Microsoftstore.com for the free 1600 MS points? There was also a code floating around for a little bit to get free next day shipping, which I took advantage of. I'm still a little worried my pre-order won't arrive on Tuesday even though I've heard they're good with getting your game to you on the release date, even if you choose a slower shipping speed.
Still a little concerned though but if it doesn't come through I guess I can wait another day.
I did. Mine was sent to UPS but still has no delivery date. Its next day air so I think it will arrive right on time. The point bonus is redeemed after it ships, I think .

Mine hasn't shipped, I've had more than a few games ordered and be delivered on the date.
Amazon means release date when they say it. You absolutely won't be getting it early but I wouldn't worry about it arriving late.
