I think because the 360 stores some stuff on a USB stick when you format it for the system, so you technically need a stick bigger than 8 GB.

Well, install is about 8gb, so a 8gb stick might work, although not recommended. Never seen 12gb sticks though, but if you would find one I suppose it should work

I started mine by going to coming soon and you will see a "buy and download now for $59.99" or just the GTA V icon, i clicked the buy now button and it just went to download the blimp and game since i already paid for it.
