Clearly a group of protagonists of which she's part of. Not sure what is main about her, who was the main in GTA V then?

The idenity is irrlevent to investors. As long as there's an online mode that makes millions of 12 year olds wanna use their moms credit card to buy shark cards, the humor and satire doesn't matter to them.

Sure, but, a lot of the reason behind the popularity of the franchise leading up to, and including GTAO, is the identity of GTA (the stupid humor, over the top characters, etc...). Even before it blew up with RP, it was still popular because of the game world itself.

If the base is just your standard open world game, it'll struggle.

I'm expecting it to be the shortest GTA game story and mission count wise (compared to 4 and 5 i mean). I have zero doubt that the game is being made with GTA Online being the major focus. Sure the campaign will probably come first like last time, but this is basically like getting a new map for Warzone, in Rockstars mind i'm sure.

i agree. they'll put that out and maybe give it few patches for bugs then go all in with GTAO 2. i'm not expecting much from the actual SP content. it'll be like those MP games that have a campaign. a simple short campaign but the real game starts when you go to online. CoD is a perfect example.

While the headline clearly on purpose makes it sound she will be the only playable character, the article itself states she will be part of a group of leading characters. Sounds like a repeat of GTA 5 to me.

Having a female as the only playable character would be way too drastic for this franchise and honestly I wouldn't be happy either, not gonna deny that.
