I for one won’t be buying anymore insomniac games. Out of the list of spiderman, spider man miles morales, ratchet and clank, spider man 2, I only enjoyed miles morales. I’d give MM like a 7.5/10. Their stories are way too safe and are not enjoyable. Their gameplay loop is repetitive.

They’re cranking the games out too quickly and it’s become formulaic. I have no interest in purchasing a Wolverine game with spider man like mechanics.

I hate to say this but as someone who purchased 2 ps5 pros. Sony single player games are losing their touch. Their single player games are becoming bloated and not in a good way. They often outstay their welcome as there’s too much padding. Astrobot is the best single player Sony game released since GOW 2018. The rest have been mid imo.

GTA VI will be a wait and see for me. I only play for the sandbox most of the time, but I like to finish the story at least once. I dreaded to complete GTAV's story as it had some low point when jumping from protagonists. If GTA VI is V but worse then I'll skip all cutscenes and enjoy it my own way.

Well, for some folks here this game was already woke for featuring a female character (per the Indy thread) and if it also has a gay/lesbian character than that is pretty much sealed. I am not sure if people understand what is woke what isn't woke anymore, and we seem to be looking at the extremes of both sides (the woke crowd and the anti-woke crowd). Being respectful, showing respect to those that are not similar to us, seeing them in games or movies should not be a sign of extreme wokeness or reason to boycott, simply for featuring them—as long as there is no political angle or even if there is, as long as it is handled in a way where it does not seem preachy or artificial should be okay. There has to be a balance which no one seems to want to acknowledge or push for.

Couldn't agree more.. I just stopped early and haven't bought SM2 ... HZ FW was dogshit... nothing I heard made me want to buy Ragnarok or SM2... so for now yes .. Only Astro Bot ... great game.. not suprise it came from the Japan branch as GT7 another great game.

I would argue that those woke games are made for woke people but need anti woke people to be successful and alot of them aint successful so the anti woke gamers are rather happy put their money where their mouth is.

All players want to be Eve or Mai except when they are with their boyfriend. This is very strange but it seems like the player feels abused, damn it's just a game. If in the old gow games using Kratos, we rotated the analog stick while he was doing the job, why can't we do the same while a female character we control receives the job? I hope GTA 6 follows the path that tlou2 paved.
