Ngl they have a point
shit looks more scripted than a wwe match.
Isn't that a normal thing in videogames when you enter a town for the first time? Rockstar, Bethesda they all have scripted events.

I have no clue, bro, just saying thats the info that is said, and fine, lets be generous and bump it up to 60, thats still impressive afMmhmm. Sure.

The soundtrack alone took over 30 people. If you want to argue E33 was made by 30 people, then let's play fair and only include the "core" team members for any big AAA game when we talk about those. The E33 glazing has been bad enough without making up facts to support a cringe "power to the people" narrative.
Honestly I agree. Everyone here is sucking off GTA6 but guess what most developers don't have a billion dollars to play with.I have no clue, bro, just saying thats the info that is said, and fine, lets be generous and bump it up to 60, thats still impressive af
And yup there were translators/musicians/localisation team alltogether, but in terms of core 30ppl team thats right, hell make it 40 coz its only fair to include that team of 8 korean animators![]()
Not when the narrator in the video sell that thing as a feature that happen all the time in a dynamic way.Isn't that a normal thing in videogames when you enter a town for the first time? Rockstar, Bethesda they all have scripted events.
i like it lolEwww 800p resolution. No wonder it looked so blurry!

Hellblade 2 is just barely a game. I wouldn't use that as a bar. When you can put all your rendering budget into like two or three tightly controlled characters on screen, zero physics and interaction - it's gonna look good. It's almost like comparing a game like heavy rain to a normal gameIs there something wrong with my eyes, that W4 tech demo isn't really doing anything for me visually. The performance improvements and lumen vegetation stuff is great, but nothing made me go wow visually. I mean, Hellblade 2 looks better to me and that's based on a much older engine version and this isn't even due for a couple more years. Marvel 1943 looks better too and that's also an older UE version currently. Maybe it's just the art style or something.
Edit: I'm so glad to see they're putting work into things like cloth physics and motion matching, PS4 gen was so bad for this stuff and it's been quite meh this gen too.
I saw that image and immediately thought of you as I know you've mentioned a million times now that games should push tech rather than just targeting 4K loli like it lol
it means they are pushing the tech and not wasting the GPU on rendering 60 fps at high resolutions like 1440p like some devs.....
Just rewatched mighty impressive "killing monsters" cgi trailer back from august 2013:i like it lol

And obviously setting of that witcher 4 demo is more frivolous/colorful but its actually an improvement over that cinematic w3 trailer, and not small improvement at that:
Only downgrade is, and again- super obvious if indeed its ps5 realtime footage- is resolution/bluriness but i think we absolutely shouldnt complain about it, most of us here will likely play that game on highend pc/ps6/new xbox anyways so IQ wont be an issue at all(gotta be realistic, game gonna come out likely not earlier than 2028, likely holidays 2028 too)![]()
and remember that it's independent.Mmhmm. Sure.

Yes stunning showcase i can't wait for full gameplay reveal on Friday, love studio who upgrades their own techJames Bond looks amazing. Incredible graphics. Huge upgrade from Hitman. I love the lighitng and level of detail in each level. It's almost UE5 quality in terms of asset quality.
See Japan, this isnt that hard.
I am here to say that I am , indeed , disappointed.I am ready for yet another disappointment.
can't remember the last time I got excited about a Sony1st Party game, and I am a Sony fan through and through
Playstation has dropped off this gen. Not gaming as a whole imo. PC still has loads of gems to uncover. That SoP was shite, but then they always areRegarding the SoP:
What a bag of shit.
If it wasn't for GTAVI, this entire gen would be a wash. It's mid-2025 and there isn't anything else that makes me feel like we've moved beyond PS4 [Pro].
We're 57-64% through and it feels like everyone's just given up.
After flogging my PS5 in 2022; I'll be renting a PS5 Pro for a few months for DS2 & GTAVI then sitting the rest of this one out. Hopefully Sony & various devs will actually turn up for PS6.
Idk it seemed good not great to meJames Bond looks amazing. Incredible graphics. Huge upgrade from Hitman. I love the lighitng and level of detail in each level. It's almost UE5 quality in terms of asset quality.

Dude, common, you always get gassed about games when you first see them. Bond looks ok, nothing special. Character models and facial animations don't even look on par with the best of last gen. Animations in general look very dated.James Bond looks amazing. Incredible graphics. Huge upgrade from Hitman. I love the lighitng and level of detail in each level. Doesn't really matter, especially when we're strictly talking about graphics. I can walk around, run, climb, and fight in Hellblade 2; that counts as a game to me.Hellblade 2 is just barely a game. what the difference between this and first ghost on ps4? truly fuck lazy developers
This one? lol, even netease upgrade their own tech tide engine, but sony first party are just disaster right nowGraphics whores not eating too well based on the state of play. There was that one game that had the animated pixely look, that MP game? Some of the post processing there looked CGI ish, a few shots of the lighting on the bond trailer seemed decent too, but all in all it was a largely mixed bag ranging from poor to just OK.
60fps quality mode on pro as per ps blog007 is 30fps?
cutscenes are meh, but the gameplay looked phenomenal. Lighting is excellent during the gameplay shots, and the scope of the game is AAA we'd expect from Sony first party.Dude, common, you always get gassed about games when you first see them. Bond looks ok, nothing special. Character models and facial animations don't even look on par with the best of last gen. Animations in general look terrible.
Honestly, the cutscenes dont even impress me. I was like these character models are last gen, but then Bond showed up and they started cutting in combat sequences with great hero lighting everywhere. it's a huge upgrade from hitman 3. I also really like the driving sequences during which the cutscenes looked the best as well.too early too judge , they always use pre-rendered in-engine cutscenes, so that's that
both gameplay and facial animations are still too stiff
the main character looks, unlikeable to me
but this could actually be interesting on the whole
P.S. watched it a second time and it looks last-gen , as bad as the Hitman trilogy
SlimySnake the only impressive shot was the opening one showing the mountain- a clearly pre-rendered shot
I knew they wouldn't/couldn't upgrade their bloody Glacier
they are not lazy, they are complacent, resting on their laurels
I'm just saying it's a bit unfair to expect an open world game to be at that level with character models when that's practically all Hellblade has to render half the time.Doesn't really matter, especially when we're strictly talking about graphics. I can walk around, run, climb, and fight in Hellblade 2; that counts as a game to me.
cutscenes are meh, but the gameplay looked phenomenal.
The Hitman games looked "fine enough", this looks like the Hitman games so it looks just "fine enough" as well.cutscenes are meh, but the gameplay looked phenomenal. Lighting is excellent during the gameplay shots, and the scope of the game is AAA we'd expect from Sony first party.

You guys have to compare it to the 2020 Hitman game. It's on par with Mafia to me.

none of us are here for "fine enough" otherwise I'd be over on the OG threadThe Hitman games looked "fine enough", this looks like the Hitman games so it looks just "fine enough" as well.
As long as the gameplay and story are fun (which I'm hoping they are) I'm okay with the way it looks.
People who were expecting some kind of revolutionary game from this that would blow expectations must've never watched a 007 movie.
I said this in the other thread, but how can ALL of sony studios literally have nothing for e3? like are they even working? Do they not know e3 season was coming up? its not like they blew their load the last couple of years. they were MIA last year and the year before that outside of Spiderman 2.Sony first party is dead this gen, will probably only show up when this gen will be nearly done, lol. Microsoft managing to finish last while going out of console business when competition didn't even show up is the funniest thing.
