Has anyone decoded the number code during the end credits?
Amazing how fast people figure this stuff out.

It was a really sweet, heart-wrenching finale. I'm glad we got a proper sendoff instead of it being canceled and leaving us hanging, but I really really hate how rushed and unfinished it feels. The behind the scenes issues that went on and likely caused this is really aggravating. There'll always be that "what if". What if Disney didn't screw up the schedule so much? What if Gravity Falls stayed on The Disney Channel? What if we had at least one more season?
I remember reading somewhere that the Time Baby and Co. were supposed to return for the finale? I guess not.
Finally was perfect though I felt that Hirsch probably played Persona 4 at some point.
Dipper doesn't look too bad with Wendy's hat. But Dipper's hat honestly looks better on Wendy than Dipper.Wendy looks way cooler in Dipper's hat than he does in hers.
Stan and Ford being petty in the circle was quite forced. The chase scene after the circle was broken just felt like padding, especially given how you'd expect Bill to end it much more quickly than he did.
For me it brought meaning to the scrapbook. As others have said, for how goodwas, resolving it so quickly and neatly felt unfortunate.Stan's sacrifice
Technically, since Stan's mind wasn't completely erased, doesn't that mean that Bill was never completely erased as well?

wait, didn't sign it but everyone else from the gang did?Tambry
Just curious, is the only explanation for the cause of the weirdness in gravity falls (what I considered to be the main mystery of the entire show) an offhand mention by Ford of a "weirdness anomaly (or whatever it was called)" that attracts weirdness there? That's kind of lame. I was hoping for a better explanation than that. Like maybe an alternate dimension was leaking through or something (or was that actually the case and the dimension ford went into to investigate was that? I kinda forgot lol)
To be fair. Dipper doesn't look cool with either hat.Wendy looks way cooler in Dipper's hat than he does in hers.
Behind the Pines explained it IIRC. Alex said the birth mark is based upon a kid who had lots of acne and he would pretend to match the dots, and they came out to be like the little dipper. And that's it, apparently.Filed under "Mysteries Gravity Falls never got around to answering", I present Exhibit #23:
Stan, I agree with that. But I blame it on the lack of time, there was so much stuff going on in the finale, even an hour long episode wasn't enough for a proper build up. I loved the ending, it just felt slightly rushed.got his memory back too soon
The one thing that bothered me was how Stan acted petty and cowardly troughout the whole episode, constantly looking for an escape hatch from theorShacktron. After what he did in episodes like Land Before Swine, Not What He Seems and Stanchurian Candidate this felt out of character to me.acting hostile towards Ford in the most crucial moment
So I finally gave this show a shot. It's really very strange, but in a good way. Does it get better in the second season?

Oooooooohh yes, it does!
But beware, there are a lot spoilers around here, so better be careful!
Thanks! I like how this show quickly builds it's own mythology. Without spoiling anything, do we ever get an answer as to what Dipper's book is and why there's a 3 on it?
Yes.
Gonna need a screenshot of "See You Next Summer"
This reminds me of a similar screenshot from an episode in another animated series that wrapped up a summer trip full of new friends and special memories...
Sorry guy. I missed this the first time around
