Grow Home |OT| Updated with New Content [18th Feb]

Anyone got the AA working well on PC with nvidia?

Not DSR, doing that already, it looks good already but got some spare resources.

Can tell I'm going to love this after just playing about 15 minutes now.

So I've got a PS4 and started to get through my PS+ library and the first game I chose to play, as someone who loves 3d platformers, is Grow Home. During the first few minutes I was a bit confused(mostly because of the controls) but once it clicked to me it became an amazing experience and it only got better until the end. In two days I've explored the entire world and collected everything, and I'm now wishing there was more because it's been one of the finest 3d adventure/platformer experiences I've ever had.

Wow... Great little game. But I got really frustrated at near the end of my playthrough.
Only near the ending I figured that I basically played the game the wrong way.

Around a couple of hours in, I got a bit tired of the star plant growing, as I thought that the plant hitting the "glowing" energy islands was random-ish. So i just went hopping and hitting lots of the red seeds for a while. Then when I got to the waterfall, i saw no need to grow more of the plant, as I could just hop around the catapults and use the flower/gilder etc.

Got to the asteroid belt but I couldn't reach the starship by just using the boost (had around 90 crystals). Went back gliding all around the map, got 100% crystals and finally went to the starship.Nothing happened, as I needed to deliver a seed. What seed?

Yes, I have missed the objective of the game. Guess that's what you get for starting a game for a couple of mins then coming back to it a few weeks later.

So i spent a good hour hopping around all the red seed things again, so it would hit the glowing islands and eventually the one seed would pop up. Well. I figured I was definitelly missing something out.

Searched online and, yes, I'm stupid: You could actually direct/ride the growth of the red seed things. Wow. Thought it was all random! I missed the main point of the game as well.

Reaching all those islands was bound to be so much easier :(
20 mins later and I got the plant to the starship and started looking around for the fallen star seeds.
Great little game. #@& :)

Every time this gets bumped my heart skips a beat and I think there's a new content update for us to play with.

This is something that deserves to be expanded on :(
