Yeah I tried to join twice and it gave me an error after the "switch targeting mode" prompt. Was hoping they fixed that error.

Same here. I really wish the invites would show the crew tag, so people will know the invite isn't from some IGN scrub.

I should be prison escort, because that role has every weapon of theirs available (highest level). Should make the prison break easier.
Also we should go back to free mode and try again anyway so that we can get our mics back lol

Yeah, think that's enough hunting for heist lobbies for tonight (Power went out). Didn't think it'd be such a hassle trying to start the second heist. Think it's best to schedule a time for everyone to meet up.

And is it me, or is the aliasing worse on PS4 after the latest update? I seem to be noticing a lot more shimmering and even the edges of numbers and letters during the post-mission results/earning screen have more jaggies.

We're just messing, mate. Last night I was just really tired and stressed after attempting the prison break out a million times. We don't mean anything by it.
I found the trick to this is to chase the fighter jet. He can't shoot at you if he's in front of you
. Also, the closer he is to you the slower he goes (in fact if you are behind you'll have to try to not pass him). Makes it easier for the demolitions guy to pick him off.JetSetRadio

Oh my god. Stupid prison break heist. First attempt it glitched and we couldn't lose wanted level while in the plane. Second time, this happened

Hey. At least you guy's didn't have to deal with my incompetent ass. I crashed the plane getting out of the airport our first try.
Reddit apparently thinks that heist is cursed with stupid failures. There's a whole thread almost dedicated to it.

Big thanks to those that did the prison heist with me last nigh. It was a 3 crew members with myself and we kept getting a random person for the fourth. Everytime, that person would leave after the set up and we had to get a new one. When we finally got to the heist the random and I were in the prison and he just kept getting killed. The last few times he kept blowing himself up with grenades. We even got to the plane, took off, landed again to pick him up and then got run down my cop cars...seriously frustrating. We eventually gave up.
I restarted the heists again with some different members and we got it done!
I payed out an extra 25k to all the crew to even it out.
These heists mission are really damned hard if it's your first time and you don't know what to do.
Seriously, fighting out of the prison as the prisoner with only a ap pistol is harder that any mission in the game I've done.
Thanks again. I'll be on again tonight for the next mission. I'll help out on some other heists as well

I did the heist as a prisoner maybe an hour earlier before I did it with you guys, so I know how tough that was. However, my escort was still fairly low level so he was geared just as 'well' as I was, making it that much harder!
So yeah, a protip for everyone: give the Prison Escort role to the person with the highest level, since they will have all of their weapons at their disposal. Having the Special Carbine made a world of difference.

I wonder if this works if you just do it on a stolen car (sounds like it's the trombone horn glitch all over except this time it doesn't tell you it's not charging you).
Yeah, that was really frustrating with the random. It got boring being demolition over and over. I wish if you fail there's an option to switch roles between tries. I could have just switched to prisoner / prison guard.

Does the Role effect he payout? When we tried the second time I didn't think I should be the prisoner but it seems that's the default role for the leader who is getting the bigger cut.
