GTA Online PS4/XB1 |OT| Just ignore the bodies (and look forward to heists)

Rockstar gave me $500k since my Over Achiever award glitched. My daily objective count started over at 0 at half way through.

That's nice, since my All in Order Award also glitched out and I got nothing from them.

I still need to get the crew together to see if I can get the Loyalty award.

Sent you an invite to the GAF Crew.

Thanks for the invite. Hadn't checked back since December. Just logged in to the Social Club after seeing a supposed hack of accounts and saw the invite. I really want to try to do some heists and finding people in game that don't just try to shoot your face off is difficult.

Why does he wear the mask!?
WTF why cant i access my saves from my digital GTA for the on disc version?

It's made 2 separate GTA Vs in the save data management on ps4

Anyone having problems with drive by controls, in that they're not working.
You mean you can't shoot out of vehicles? Yes it's a bug I suffer from as well. Just bring up Snapmatic on your phone, then put it away. That will fix it for the remainder of your online session. You'll need to do it pretty much every session though.

If you import your PS3 character, will you be able to completely customize the appearance or does it just load in the character?

My PS3 character was ugly as sin so I started a new one on PS4, but I kinda want my money.

So besides heists what's the fastest way to make money now? Is it violent duct still or survivals?

What is violent duct?

Survivals cost you a lot of ammo and take a lot of time. And honestly, there are missions that will give you more money per time you spend than survivals. So if you don't mind spamming them, they'll add up quicker.

Without a helicopter with missiles or a Hydra, I recommend Titan of a Job. It's a little long but it nets you 16 (if you are really quick to 22 or so if you take your time) and very easy to do on your own (it will of course get you more if you do with people but be much quicker). It's my easy money mission and if I consider it easy, that's saying something. I usually take a car that's good for cover and just snipe most the NPCs from a distance using my car for cover. Sedan like cars make the best cover cause they have two ends you can hide behind but get good shots when you need to poke out your head and aim. Super sports cars make shitty cover, they're too low. Then steal the plane and land it at Trevor's.

Buy at least a Buzzard (if you haven't gotten the Hydra yet. And yes, it is worth the 3 million dollars so save up. Most fun vehicle in the game). It will pay for itself in the long run, trust me.

With a buzzard/savage/Hydra (hydra will do these missions quicker but you get less money but if you don't mind it spamming over and over doing them quicker actually is more efficient at making money):
Trash Talk is a really good one (13k if you do it quick, 18k if you do it slowly. If you want to have fun exploding things great mission to waste time doing such as no cops will come)
Or Denial of Service (doesn't pay as much but still pays decently) <- disclaimer: I hate this one without a buzzard. I hate time limits and most of the trucks are easy until you get the one that has opposition around it.

With any helicopter you can call:
Cleaning the Cat house. Having a heli you can attack with might make it more fun but you don't even need that. Just land on the roof near where it says the NPC you need to rescue is and she'll walk up and get in the helicopter. Fly off. Land at Martin's. That's it. Decent money and super simple job with a heli.

Are these jobs under the missions category? (Besides Titan, I know that is) I can't seem to find any of the others you listed and I'm a 52.

You might need to call the giver of the mission to get them to pop up.

Violent Duct was the "go to" mission to repeat over and over again because it could be done quick with a big payout back when GTAO launched and we could restart missions after passing them. The best thing about DoS is the fact that you can use it to stock up on Sticky Bombs for free, I always do it once I get below 10. The time limit is inconsequential, especially after getting some experience with it and the truck that's guarded is nothing but a minor inconvenience as long as you have a vehicle with a bullet proof back, I usually take the gated entrance, running over the guy guarding it and then when I near the corner you turn right to get to the truck I turn around, back over one of the Vagos and throw the Sticky Bomb. If they didn't detect you before you get a couple seconds before they react which is enough to not get killed if they have an open shot on you.

I also usually take my time while there and shoot a few Vagos for a little extra RP and for the payout increase but I've kind of gotten bored with that. I think I used my Buzzard on it once but I'm generally not in that big a hurry to finish it.

Still the only reason I do it is for the free Sticky Bombs that alone is like an additional ~10K.

I just hate time limits. And for some reason now I can't pick up sticky bombs or other pickups anymore in missions or survivals. No matter how low I am on them.

Many thanks for this swift reply, it worked perfectly. Got my old stats and money but was able to fully redesign the appearance of my character. Awesome. Eclipse Tower appartment 40, here I come.

What's the deal with not being able to preview properties? Who the fuck buys a 500,000 dollar appartment without even seeing it? Sure, I googled it but it's just silly.

Odd, still works fine for me, you just have to drop what you have first, pick some up, drop again and so on before picking them back up.

Hey guys, we haven't got our million dollar bonuses.

Is it okay to restart all the heists from the beginning with a new crew?

Is the tutorial required if it's only 2 players? How would that work?

I got the million, from doing the 2 player heist with Felix, and then the rest of the heists with Felix, Baron and Tigress. Got the Loyalty, all in order, and a support role bonus (from doing all the heists as non-host).

I believe Baron and Tigress received the Loyalty and In Order bonuses as well

Cat should have but it glitched out on him :( (it didn't give him the all in order or the loyalty. He's also the one who hosted all the heists).

Hey I've been playing this a lot lately on PS4 with no crew yet so if there is room I'd love an invite to the gaf one, PSN is blown-speakers, social club is the same without the hyphen, thanks!

Enjoyed tearing up a soft-lock lobby yesterday with Tony. You know, sometimes you just need to be that [violent and merciless] guy and just tear random shit up.

The Valkyrie with even just one competent gunner on-board is a real force to be reckoned with in free roam, the front passenger cannon is insane! Thud, thud thud, thud, thud. Lovely stuff.

The only issue with it is that the Valkyrie is a little delicate so even so much as a hard landing (something my mates specialise in!) can get her smoking and in not too long the engine dead alert will have you leaping for safety.

Good fun while she lasts though.

We really need to get a GAF forces night going on. With four in a Valkyrie, two in an Insurgent pick-up and air (Buzzard and Hydra) and ground back up (standard Insurgents) no lobby would be safe!

See y'all in LS.

I've saved up some money and I'm trying to determine what vehicle to buy. I already have a Zentorno and an Armoured Kuruma, so I'm mostly tossing up between the Insurgent and the various Pegasus delivered military vehicles (Insurgent Pickup, Buzzard, Valkyrie, Savage, Hydra).

My main question is this: can Pegasus deliver those military vehicles to you during actual missions (including heists), or are they limited to free roam?

Man, now I remember why I stopped playing heist with randoms. My friends dont even play GTA no more, they all moved on to other games like bloodborne.

About the Pegasus vehicles, you can NOT use those in heist, but in the contact missions, you CAN use them.

I personally bought a Buzzard after spending a lot of time in the flight school learning how to fly and I LOVE that damn helicopter. When you know how to fly it, that thing is amazing.

I got so good at flying helicopters now that I went from crashing within seconds of flying a helicopter to maneuvering between tightly spaced buildings quickly while shooting down enemies.

Im currently saving up the for the insurgent with the turret on the top. If the technical(picup truck with turret on back) was storable, then i would have bought that instead to use on heist but since I have to call pegasus, I might as well spend the extra cash and get the insurgent since its armored up.

After that, Im fixing my eyes on that hydra. I love flying that thing. Being able to use it like a helicopter and float around enemies, raining death on them from above, and when i need to get somewhere fast, switch over to the jet mode. But its 3 mill though.

And doing heist with randoms is going to take me a LONG time to get.

Sorry for the delay, I got you added in.

But it'll be the most fun you'll have with 3 mil. Aside from the buzzard, it's one of the greatest Pegasus vehicles. BUY IT NAO

Aside? It's better than the buzzard!

Best fucking vehicle in the game! And I'm with Baron, buy it now!

Just ask Lonestar, we convinced him to go broke buying it. I guarentee you if you get in a server with him he'll have it out. It's just that awesome.

Thanks so much for that very detailed response Dre, it's appreciated.

Having read that and some of the other responses, I'm tempted to save up and get a Hydra in preference to the Buzzard. I'm already at 1.8 million so I'm past halfway there, and I'm doing heists very regularly at the moment.

I need help completing the Heists, haven't played in a few weeks (Bloodborne's fault!). Playing with randoms is getting pretty annoying. If any of you are interested, let me know:

PS4, PSN: Akuma_818

You might convince me to do a setup or two if I'm on. Though at this point I'm just playing GTA to waste time til Witcher comes out (I've played so much of it I'm really ready for a new game. I need a break).

Does anyone know if you get anything fancy for finishing a full Survival mission? I accidentally spent $130,000+ on getting max ammo for all of my guns, so I have an absurd amount of ammo, and I actually feel bad about it. I'd rather start burning it off in the Survival missions.

Ah, don't feel bad about it. It hurts at first to buy all ammo, but after that it makes it easy to stock up on ammo before a mission starts. Just press buy all ammo (and since you'll only replace ammo you used you know you're only paying for the ammo you used. Plus you get an idea of how much ammo money-wise you are using).

I did that a while back. It's worth it just for the convenience. And not having to decide how much ammo of each gun I want to keep. And I'll never run out (of at least regular gun, not talking missiles) of ammo at a bad time.

I use to have my ammo all maxed out on my primary character, I gave that up because it was pointless for every gun besides the mini-gun. Now I'm usually keeping it around 4,000 which is still way more than enough.

Granted I think it got to 9,999 in the first place because of being gifted billions back when the first big money "hack" came out back in late 2013 and exploiters were spreading the wealth..

Annoyed... Normally Simeon annoys the hell out of me with custom car delivery requests that normally piss me off, too far to drive with small payout plus you get stars accidentally, but today my daily objective is to deliver a car to him... And he wont give me any to deliver. Normally it's like 5 seconds into gta online you get his text, but apparently not when you need it for a daily objective. Pissed because thus would be my 7th consecutive day so I'd get that big reward.

Messed up game haha

God, people are so fucking terrible at the Deliver EMP mission...

It's like people are trying to make the game Dark Souls or some fucking shit.

There's just no way to do that one with randoms, you need four people with brains and mics.

While this is true, but I HAVE completed this heist many times and in my experience, many of them were successful. Even some of the first try. Most people just run up in there and start shooting at everyone they see, and targeting anyone who reacts.

I was able to do it with randoms, but we had to coordinate. Normally I picked high Rank players, for I imagine they know how to play the game.

I was wrong. I had Rank 20 people know what they were doing, and a Rank 188 fucking stumble the whole time. The mission kinda reminded me of Ground Zeroes, in a funny way.

Oh wow I'm glad I read this, it looks like the requests keep coming every day if you don't do them so I'm not gonna do those anymore to ensure I have it available when I get it as my daily.

FWIW, I did end up getting it later yesterday.. like 8PM or so I logged on for a half hour and got one, so got my daily thing.

I've been about to land the Hydra (on Hard) and had one of the guys in a Lazer crash while showing off. More than once.

Never trust a random lol.
