Oh god I just kicked a cat in first person mode and killed it and now I feel like a terrible human being
Yeah but you did it in 60fps and that's awesome

Been "Preparing files for install" forever now. Damnit, I'm not even to downloading the game yet.
Game looks shitty with my GTX 560Ti I will have to upgrade.
Well... the launcher instantly crashes with no error, and directly running the GTAV exe just tells me to run PlayGTA.exe, which is not anywhere in the install folder. and everything validated just fine.
This is just...
lol

Finally found a solution to the problem I was having when the process would run and then die within seconds.
I get this though. I hope they fix it soon.

High res nipples in the strip club
Definitive version confirmed
Anybody running a 760? I'm thinking of double dipping but I wonder what I'm gonna get if I decide to buy it. What settings can it run at 60FPS? Is the game CPU heavy? Mine's a bit old at this point.

I'm hard. My game just finished installing and I'm launching it now.It finally let me download the update, after two hours.
FPS mode on the PC is perfect. The controls are exactly what you'd expect, it all comes to you naturally. The port itself seems fantastic, much better than GTA IV anyway. Very happy so far.
I think it's still too early to say, especially as heaps of people are still having trouble running it, but I sure hope so.Hands down, can we say this is one of the best PC ports of all time?
Because I am.
Yeah, I fixed it, was downloading an update, and then got hit by this screen. I wanna play my game, man. ;~;Finally found a solution to the problem I was having when the process would run and then die within seconds.

HOW?
just retry until it goes through rofl
Did it a third time for luck. Cleaned everything out, including using regedit. Redownloaded the installers from the link Rockstar supplied. Turned off my antivirus, added the .exes as exceptions for luck, then ran than as administrator. Installed RSC. Ran the GTAV setup tool. It filled up a bar and then closed itself.installed the game a second time and social club just keeps crashing cant even login. booooo!
does it still count if thousands of people can't run the launcher?can we say this is one of the best PC ports of all time?

How can you just say that and not tell us how you fixed it? I'm having the same problem!

Did this http://steamcommunity.com/app/271590/discussions/0/611703709829997827/ worked for me.
Framerate gets cut in half when I leave the city and am bombing around in the countryside.
Anyone else having an issue getting a non-Steam copy of the game to run through a Steam shortcut? Added it as a Non-Steam game, but when I double click on it, it just shows the GTA5 screen for 4-5 seconds and the stops. Never had this issue running a non-Steam version of a game through Steam before, was hoping to stream it.
The launcher isn't the game, and yeah this port is fantastic.
