I saw vol. 1 of the DnA run at a local bookshop and had to resist buying it, mainly because it was £25.
I wish we could get a technical or visual guide or encyclopedia. I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to space ships and I like to know the names of the various ships and their armaments, shields, propulsion, size, etc.My copy of the artbook arrived last night and it is amazing. There is so much concept artwork. And it's super high quality too (not just sketches).

It has 6-10 versions of each of the protagonists and antagonist with a lot of variety between them. It's especially interesting to how varied the designs for Rocket and Groot were.
Very strong recommendation. There is so much stuff in this book. I'm kind of surprised that more of the content hasn't appeared online yet as it is amazingly gorgeous.
Is that when the Blu-ray is coming out? I hope it's sooner.Im so sad I wont be able to watch this till february. Would be awesome if a 4k bluray was out by then.
Watched it! My favorite moment was the"knife-missile" massacre scene.
I've seen the film twice; for the second time just this evening, and I have no idea which scene you're referring to here!

Yaka Arrow.Me and my friends were instantly reminded of the Culture knife-missile when we saw Yondu's arrow thingy, so that's what I've been calling it.
Yaka Arrow.
I've actually come to the conclusion this might be one of my favorite movies of all time. Now, I don't mean #1 favorite, but definitely in my Top 10 or 20. I rarely have that good of a time in the theater and this was when the projector was out of focus and there were only maybe 20 people in the theater (I saw a 1:30pm matinee standard showing). The good thing was I saw it with a good friend of mine. I can only imagine if this projector was in focus (lol) and the theater was full with people laughing and clapping.Just saw the movie for a third time. Still awesome, if not infinetly more so.
I googled but couldn't find anything so I suppose I'd ask here....
Does anyone know if there's going to be a Star-Lord costume available by Halloween? If I have the money, I'm seriously considering buying it - even a "cheap" version. I haven't dressed up for Halloween in a very long time but I'm still so hyped by the movie, I'm willing to in this case.
It's that or a cheap version of Master Chief. Heh.

Awesome. Probably will be available for Halloween. I know where one is nearby too.
Make that when. GotG2 is already confirmed for a July 28, 2017 release. If they do make a GotG 2, I hope it is as far removed from the rest of the Marvel universe as this film. It was so great going into this film without seeing other marvel films and knowing the only cross-over (so far) is Thanos.

This movie is soooooo damn good. It would have been good as a stand-alone film. Still hyped after all this time and that's not common when it comes to movies for me.

Finally premiered in the Netherlands last night, so went to the IMAX 3D midnight screening. I absolutely loved it! My favourite MCU film so far, and one of my favourite films ever. The audience seemed really into it as well, and everybody clapped at the end of it and stayed during the end credits. Most fun I've had in cinemas in a while.
My student transit pass kicks in next week, so free public transit + unlimited movie pass means I'll propably go see this in IMAX at least 2 more times!
I'll never understand people clapping in a theater where literally noone from the crew is present.
Winter Soldier Blu-Ray just came in, though.
When will we seeagain?Thanos
... still not out in Germany. I'm dying to watch this a second time!

Possibly Avengers 2 or GOTG 2. Both are a safe bet.
you should probably delete that gif
spoilers and how it might have come from an illegal copy and all that
Does winter solider come with a marvel one shot?
Don't you mean The Return of the First Avenger?
