ok, here's the thing:
to get the folders to align like that and fill the folders you need to be in "Content" view, but the lines show up between each of the folders.
In all of the other ways to list folders without the lines, the folder icons DO NOT fill up, so they have to be in "List" view, but their folder icons are very large.
