Basically, I'm an adventurer with frugal tendencies. From launch till now, I've probably made 3 gold already.
Yeah fuck this company(NCSoft), they never once sent me a confirmation email to confirm the change OR what the email was changed too. Pretty big flaw in their system that could easily be fixed.
Also I am not the only one.
Oh well this is just fucking great
My account is gone as well, fuck this shit.

If a hacker knows someones email/password and cant log in the game. Can they simply change the email through the guildwars2 website to bypass that?
If so, that is pretty big.
what level are you currently? I made 3 gold with my lvl 42 Mesmer just by leveling, saved up on my Karma as well (around 17k right now)
A member down. I'm going to be extra vigilant. Might change my password soon.My Windows Phone also updates me instantly on emails and I NEVER ONCE got an email to change my password or email. Its effecting a lot of people to from what I am seeing so I would say watch out to everyone.
55 right now as a Warrior. The only issue is that I've spent almost all of it on WvW stuff. And not even on siege equipment!

Wait what? Why not buy it digitally?I won't lie - I want this but the account compromises going on are a little fucking insane. I'm not that comfortable with buying it if it's such a mess at the moment.
That being said, are we sure physical copies can be activated online without issue? Because I'd really rather buy it digitally and this would involve me getting a boxed copy, and I don't want to bring it home and have em say "can't activate right now! try later" so... Yknow.

They made a significant improvement to account security. Now when your account is logged into from a new PC, you get an email asking if this is authorized access. Similar to how Steam handles it.
The suspension is only for ArenaNet's first party sales... but it looks like they're sold out just about everywhere, so nevermindThey suspended digital sales, unless they re-opened them. Server load and such, but I can't help but think they also want to nip the security issue they're having in the bud as well, and a ballooning playerbase doesn't help.

That helps. Good.
The attack works as it says, hit it once to set the mark and again to pull. The main limit being that it is only like 600 range, not sure what you mean by a binding partner though. You could set the mark and then as long as you kept in range pull at your discretion. It may not always work on escaping enemies but it doesn't seem all that slow to me.
By "best overall class" I don't mean that a warrior beats other classes. I mean that the class can literally do anything in the game and do it well. All of the other currently strong spvp classes really are strong because of one or two particularly good builds and the rest of their builds/weapons are of questionable use.
I got a password request change in my email, but didn't click on the link. I don't even have Guild Wars 2 yet.
i wish the game was a bit better at the UI stuff and what not. I mean for the events and other group fun.
pretty hard to grasp whats going on and who needs reviving and oh shit! now im dead!
There's icons on the mini-map for people on the ground dying, or actually dead. Events go "HERE I AM" when they pop up too... I don't understand your complaint.

600 range isn't much. Probably half what you'd need for your wall idea (real range weapons are 900-1200).AAAAH, so I just have to hit it twice assuming they are in range? I thought it meant that it would only pull bound enemies and that I didn't have a bind.
How far is a 600 range anyway? I still have an issue figuring out distances in this game.
Gotcha, so it's more/less having a viable path with all weapons rather than being pigeonholed to one or two to be effective.
I think I might give my warrior another shot as I have more of an understanding of WvW and such now (although it really is just zerg fests at this point). I really dig the Guardian support though.
There just isn't a natural progression in crafting, where I can craft a useful item as I level my character.
Trading post still down?
oh man I royally screwed up in armorcrafting.
I refrained from using guides because I prefer to find things on my own. I levelled armorcrafting the same way I had wow and swtor. I found out the hard way that discovery is the best (if not only) way to substantially level crafting.
But isn't anybody else annoyed with this this type of levelling? The problem is that you have to pre-make all your components in the correct order in order to be efficient. For armor crafting, from levels 1-75 the order is:
1. refine 300 ores
2. refine 100 cloth scraps
3. craft 6x6 insignias
4. craft components
5. put everything of each into discovery tab
I did not do this, so I basically wasted most of my mats. However, I'm more annoyed that by the time I gather all the mats to level, I'd have outlevel the usefulness of the crafted items. There just isn't a natural progression in crafting, where I can craft a useful item as I level my character.
Oh yeah, I haven't even started jewelcrafting yet because I had already burned through all my ores from armorcrafting. /sigh

I love the engineers mortar in wvwvw, attacking a base and aiming the big knockback shot at the tower where the enemy is shooting down then watching them all come flying off into our attack when the mortar hits.
I kind of like how GW2 is inherently trolling people that come from standard MMO backgrounds. While it may end up turning some people off from the game at face value, it's proving to be far deeper than some are prone to dealing with from the genre, and as such they assume shit's just not working correctly.
This is what I did, and boy did I screw up.oh man I royally screwed up in armorcrafting.

Have you played much sPVP or WvW? I'm just curious what you think about the viability since you are pretty high level.
Bow Warrior is pretty fun, with other utility skills and such, you are a AOE machine
Or they are right and not everything in the game is perfect.
