If Eddie gets hurt, how does that affect his meter? I haven't really paid attention thus far.
her movement is a bit more unique so that adds to her curve a bit, but with a good bit of effort it is easy to overcome and reap power from. she is a fantastic character with a barrier for sure but it isnt a steep one. stick with her, hold your L's and improve. she is straight up a top char in this version of the game, and unless major overhauls to YRC happen in the next version (which is entirely possible mind you) she will stay that way
I-No has the best idle animation.
But does his bar have to recharge, then? I thought I saw Ogawa's Eddie get hit, disappear, and then instantly get resummoned.Eddie dies instantly to any hit.
Thanks for helping me process that.

rhapsody what region do you live/play in?
Anyone on the west coast want to play?
Edit. Haven't even gone online once.
Ah, thank you! So many answered questions tonight. I feel prepared for another day of getting kicked around tomorrow.Eddie can only take one hit before dying. When Eddie's meter depletes by having him out too long or from if he dies, they both take roughly 8-10 seconds for him to be available. The revival time is the same regardless of how much remaining meter you had with Eddie.
Edit: That's because Zato got hit instead of Eddie. Eddie disappears when Zato is hit, but you can resummon him right away.
OK adding you nowI can play a tiny bit, but I have to get going soon. My PSN is Rhapzody_
Anyone on the east coast wanna play? :V
Is anyone here even from the east coasT?
I don't mind playing. PSN: croxxfader
GGs, Prototype. It's just a matter of learning how I-No's approach options. Those dives are only for combos, so I wouldn't approach too much with those since it's punishable. If you also have trouble getting in but you were manage to make me block some ground normals, special cancel into Notes special and then YRC.
Street Fighter mentality in this game goes like this:Ok. Damn I have a lot to learn.
Edit. So that was my first match against a stranger lol. I think I try to play this game like it's Street fighter.. It doesn't work lol.
Edit2.
Um, besides EVERYTHING, anything you think I should work on in particular?
Keeping, I'll work on it.
I always want to do hcl but it whiffs crouching characters. I noticed when we were playing you would dash k, overhead me and combo. I'll practice that and try to use hcl less.

Will look up osca. Ya, I just started playing this, only GG I played was Isuka like years and years ago, and not for long. I plan on practicing more.
Thanks for dealing with my scrubby play.
I'll check em both out.hasegawa is a better i-no to check out.
You can air dash out of her "ground dash" when you're high enough. When you say instant air dash you mean something different from 96?
Edit
I'll check em both out.
I don't know anything about Potemkin, but all grapplers play on the same notion. You use the threat of the command grab to scare your opponent into doing other things. On oki, you generally go for whatever will punish their best command grab escape option, like how Zangief players will Hand on Oki to catch back dashes. Ideally, your choice is also safe if they just decide to block.Anyone got any Potemkin tips? I've been tooling around with him, and got his basic gameplan down but man I kinda feel a little helpless. Like, what's the best time to use his command grab, if ever? I know you can combo into it with a meaty forward kick hit, and off a blocked mega fist if the other guy doesn't jump but other than that it feels useless.

I get that, but from what I've found the command grab is terrible to use raw in this game. So... there's no real threat from it. I'm wondered if I'm using it wrong, cause I'm used to using a command grab to punish people trying to attack out of a knockdown or people blocking too much... but that doesn't appear to work. I swear you can punch through a command grab in almost every scenario in this game, and in most cases hitstun invincibilty gives the other guy miles of breathing room in blockstrings.
So I'm wondering, are there better set up options, or am I just an idiot missing the right timing or something? I realize you're not a specialist, but if any one in this thread is, I'd sure appreciate the help
There's some throw invuln in this game (5 or 6 frames out of blockstun, and 5 or 6 frames after wake up IIRC) so you have to kinda delay it. Tick throws are still a part of his game. Some of it comes from hammerfall brake -> attack or throw kinda stuff.
Definitely missing Jam but that just means someone else is going to going to get more love in this game. Undecided on whether that will be I-No or Millia.
I am also really curious about Elphelt and Ramlethal. I still need more time with them in training/challenges before I can begin to fully grasp their styles.
I suppose I just need to keep trying to find that sweet spot then eh?
Yeah Hammerfall's Break... I've been ignoring that up to this point, but I'm betting that's where Potemkin's best pressure stuff comes from.
All PS4 games require some kind of mandatory install. Retail version's install will probably not be much less than 6GB.My brother's getting a PS4 come March, so I'll be double dipping on this
Does the PS4 disc ver. require mandatory install on the PS4? If so how much space does it take up? Cuz I might just get it digital for 6 GB which is a good size IMO.
Was I-No always saying "merry christmas" when shooting the note?!

I cannot believe that they stripped Millia of her ADCs.
The game feels like 1/3 of R+.
And I'm not even taking the roster into the equation.
Oh man, that delay was bad. > . <
Not sure if I'll keep playing lol.
