“One day in the year 2005, 2010, 2020, all this fun and fury will seem as antiquated as spats and big bands do to us. The next generation may reject hip hop for the next sweeping cultural trend.” This process may be taking a bit longer than George had anticipated, but if and when there is no longer a cultural desire for the kind of reflective, hard-hitting rap music Vince Staples makes, then I'll be the old guy in the bar talking to a kid about Summertime '06 with the same hushed reverence current old guys in bars save for Charlie Parker. The last of a dying breed.
Cool stuff, will give this a read today.Hey fellas, long time lurker here. I wrote an in-depth Vince Staples album review that I hope you will check out if that interests you. http://www.fortfuego.com/new-blog/2...ummertime-06-to-assess-the-state-of-the-genre

Hopefully he doesn't meltdown as badly as Bronson
I'd probably keep a few tracks if it was purely instrumentals. He's gotten unbearable. Is it just me or does Tyga sound completely different on the album, like I could barely recognize that it was him, and even though some of it bumps it just feels so empty and fraudulent.
Weirdest thing about Tyga's album is when I saw this pop up on my twitter feed https://twitter.com/HerFavColor/status/614161849299251200
What a random co-sign. At least I think he was saying he bumps it...?
Damn, that track is so smooth. Thanks for the reminder.Ya'll should really check out the Daye Jack album I posted if you fuck with Chance's style whatsoever or if you're feeling this single:
Easy
