Hit 10 last night and was placed at rank 4 for the season. Currently at rank 5 now. Is that good? Bad? Still am figuring out the systems, but having a blast!

Reached rank 10. Sitting at about 16-6 with the Dagon deck. It's working well, but it struggles a little against Skellige. But I had a lot of fun beating an Axeman deck haha!
Currently have about 320 powder. Hopefully will get enough from tomorrow's games to transmute and mill another for 1600 scraps. Then I might start milling all of my premium cards to get more powder.

Skellige is fucking bullshit. How the fuck am i supposed to counter revived bears and axemen placed all over the board?
Usually takes 2-3 turns for me to kill a bear but by that time the axemen got decently buffed, but it doesn't matter since they revive the bear back anyways. So I did all that for nothing and can't kill the bear again

Anyways I changed my deck and added some special cards, specifically weather cards and faring better now. I was just hoping I could make a small deck focused on units only. The issue is my firepower not that strong like that

I'm more curious how/why Queensguard is somehow mounting a comeback, especially when Monsters appear ascendant, and they're the kings of graveyard hate.
You complained about Axemen. Mardroeme shuts them down. There's plenty of other Neutral cards too, like Alzur's Thunder, Scorch, Twisted Mirror, Regis: Higher Vampire, Geralt: Igni, Villentretenmerth, or ANY of the lock-toggling cards.

I just got zoltan and used him for the first time and i deployed him on my middle row but the field marshall would only allow me to place him on MY front row or the enemies front row...why this happen? Nothing in description says that.
This is happened yesterday when i tried to use letho, can only place on certain rows....
EDIT: the hell. Just happened again and I lost
EDIT 2: it's a bug. Tried single player and can place field marshall anywhere i want. So sad i lost 2 matches online to this :/ is this a known bug? Im on ps4

Some of the bear interactions are super dumb. I lock one with Donar and he gets hit, I kill two off with shieldmaiden's and as they go into the graveyard I see the hit effects come from the grave to double hit one and single hit the other, those few points caused me to lose that match.
Yeah, bears are too overtuned. its not as bad as i feared, but certainly oppressive.
After climbing to rank 11 with a reveal deck, the 5 keg reward for rank 13 made me sell my soul to the devil.

Dirty as shit. Berserkers for bamboozling other Skelligers plus weather is great. 75 % winrate over 24 games (18-6), rank 13 basically hit me in the face. Vs consume monsters 5-1, nilfgaard 0-2 (lol?) , 3-0 against Spellateal etc. Queensguard cant keep up and the mirror can go both ways. Only i havent seen many berserkers.

Yeah, it's a bug with controllers/the console versions I believe. I was reading a reddit thread about a similar bug with Letho this morning.

Checked the bug thread on reddit and it's been reported about other cards including Letho by several people saying it's related to controllers in general. Cause even on PC it can happen on a controller, but they can switch to mouse input and place it fine.

The recent patch notes said that problem was fixed though:

Still doing NG cause I'm a stubborn bitch and didn't pick them cause they're OP, fight me. That said, boy they are kinda butts now.
I need to only play Ranked on the weekends. Nothing but bads the entire night. I could sleep through whatever RNG I get and steamroll these dudes.
Also: The fuck is up with Roach? He only triggers like half of the time for me, now.

I'm still playing NG too. Trying out reveal and doing OK with it in ranked.
Roach now only triggers from gold cards played from hand, so it won't trigger if you play one from Calveit.

I dont do Calveit. He just doesn't spawn sometimes on Geralt / Trish drops. It's really strange.
I had a lot of fun building a queensguard deck all on my own, but I feel like someone else must have done it better and I can at least learn something from a different perspective.
Can anyone point me to a reasonably successful revive/discard SK deck? I have a lot of fun with mine, but get creamed by the same handful of decks over and over

Help me polish my Reveal deck, guys
I would like to replace the White Frost (which usually is cleared next turn, so the damage isn't high) with something else. With whatever, I have scrap so I can craft.
Before I had in that slot the Bekker's Twisted Mirror because it's a fun card and I got it a few days ago so there was a novelty aspect, but it wasn't a very synergistic with my deck, as there are some opponent decks with 1 strength cards (medics) but I didn't have, and I have some high strength cards like the Spotters, so sometimes it was very tricky using it, even if I planned ahead.
Maybe putting a simple Scorch or Decoy (to replay Vanhemar, Auckes or Peter) would be a better option.

Kambi used to be silver, and was played on your own side. It was more or less impossible to get off. Come open beta they made Kambi gold and a spy, and that's how you got it today.

Add a 3rd Spotter and Golem. I prefer just running Fire Scorpions over Mangonels as they rely on too much set up and revealing units so I'd remove them. Maybe add a Nauzicaa Standard Bearer for weather clear. If you don't want to spend scraps on other silver cards, Decoy would probably get more value over Frost and Scorch because of your high strength units.
Here's my deck that has been doing ok at lower ranks.

So after more testing with ST Movement I've decided put it into a Mulligan shell. And it's actually working pretty damn well. Have to test it out some more, put this is definitely not a trash tier deck. Perhaps some number changes but I win round 1 effortlessly thanks to Blue Mountain Commando and most of the time have enough gas in the tank to win round 2 as well.

I ran into a mill/reveal Nilfgaard. Wasn't even doing anything out of the ordinary as far as milling but they still had me empty by round 3 then renewed Avallac'h for 3 CA by the end. Super painful. Even had answers for most of their shenanigans too but I couldn't play them.

I was messing around as this deck today, lol, and had one of the opponents empty in round 2 lol. He forfeit immediately lol.
