If Danell Leyva didn't fall, that would have only saved about 2 points meaning we would still have probably been off the podium. Lots of choke artists caused our flop this year.

Different events are scored differently. I believe bars tend to score higher than vault so they aren't really comparable.

Not to mention that bars is BY FAR Russia's strongest event. Whereas the US is strong everywhere.
