Halcyon 6 |KS| Build your fleet, gather your crew in this tactical 4X management game

Kind of an anticlimactic end to the Kickstarter--seems odd to end it in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, I'm thrilled it did as well is it did and I'm glad they made it to the mini-campaign stretch goal at least. It'll be good to have a example from the developer of the the variety of stuff that can be created with the mod tools.

I am surprised the PS4 port was a stretch goal though. Even having not reached it, I'm almost positive it'll happen anyway, since it'll mean more revenue; so why would backers fund a business move that doesn't impact the quality of the game?

At any rate, I'm really looking forward to see how the final game turns out.

Now launched in Early Access and I have to say, after playing the beta build currently available... Holy shit this game effing delivered. Allow me to breathe.

It's like XCOM, FTL, and JRPG combat spliced into a galactic Sid Miers game. Impressively dense and reflective in terms of stats and systems while being ungodly cute and fun. Absolute blast, even my "casul" roommates were enjoying it like FTL.

Youtube some footage and check it out, game is friggin great! On sale too at the moment. Unsure of how much gameplay there is in the current beta state however.

I've just taken my pants off.
Permanent stat attributes based on types of action seen, seed and level randomization, plans for mod support, chiptunes-

Anyone interested in doing an OT for this? It launched today! I stopped after getting my ass handed to me during the beta, can't wait to see how the last portions proceed!

I kickstarted this, and other than hearing great things about early access, have been on total media blackout.

Can't wait to play this tonight.

Got a few hours into a new campaign, it's been rebalanced since I last played. The time manipulation power got nerfed haaaard, barely use it now. Just hardly worth it for single-target speed, better off dealing damage or healing the group.

Still a ton of fun though. I've noticed the "type A" ships synergize well together, as do the "type B" ones (Rogue vs. Marksman, Acolyte vs. Disciple, etc.). Having a lot more success after standardizing typage.
