IMO so far the AR is a little too beastly, the pistol feels like an offspring of the halo 2 and 3 pistol, DMR and BR feel rather ugly in ADS, smg is a beast.

Thought BR was always a 4 shot weapon until H4.

Don't remember a 5 shot in H2.

it's 4 shot if every bullet in a burst hits, pretty sure you could do that with the balance update in halo 4 which made the weapon rather good at medium range, before the weapon balance update it was a 5 shot but I don't remember that much as the DMR was god tier.

in halo 4 you can 4 shot as long as the 12th pellet hits the head, I personally dislike it because it makes the kill times extremely quick over range, Halo 2 was 5 shot and halo 3 was all over the place

I personally prefer how it was in halo 2 but eh, got to evolve I guess.

Both halo 2 and 3 have 4 shot BRs, hate to break it to you.

BR starts are so boring. Every single map selection in MCC is BR starts cuz of scrubs who cant make use of the different weapons in the game, then call people noobs when they get killed by an AR.

Really as much as I hate to eat the crow to me it feels amazingly like Halo. I feel more like a spartan now then I have before. Matches are close and you don't feel like you got screwed when you die. The only thing I'm not digging is the sounds. They're pretty awful but the gameplay is phenomenal.

i mean with this type of low standard, it's no wonder devs can get away with so much

game isn't halo. game isn't good.

I've been a Bumper Jumper user since Halo 3's launch.. But for Halo 5, I really like the ADS button to be on the LT, which moves the grenades to LB. That's the problems. So many times I go for a jump and end up tossing a grenade in my face.

I really don't understand why Halo still doesn't have custom controller layouts.

Halo 2 MCC doesn't feel like 4 shot BR at all to me.

Just went 24-7 on empire. Finally getting a handle on things. Blue team sniper placement is OP though. You can pick up sniper and then immediately pick off red team going for theirs.

Edit: Even though I've only played a few matches so far, I'm liking it so far. Sure, I'm fighting the controls a bit, but that will come with time. Certainly feels better than Halo 4.

i havent had much success with it yet. then again, i'm playing alone and just when i think my random teammates are actually sticking together and watching my back when i have it i find myself alone and surrounded by the entire other team...

BR starts are absolutely necessary in previous Halos with how weak the ARs and SMGs were in those games.

Love that in this game you can use a auto and not be penalized for doing so.
