You should be penalized for using a weapon that doesn't require any aiming skills
26-7 on Truth. Really getting the hang of it now. Choked so hard on an extermination though. I'm liking the changes they made to autos. They feel viable now.

the game will ask for a valid MCC ID, so either disc or live purchace is required.
team mathmaking selection has been terrific. every match this morning has been 50-49, 47-50, 49-50, etc. really close, tense matches. probably helps that it "knows" me from the early access - early matches werent this good. hang in there if you arent getting great matches yet.

Played five matches so far and save for one they've all come down to the wire, really great intense competitive matches for sure. Feels good!

Sprint is a huge trade off. While it can get you out of a jam, you need to stop sprinting and hide for awhile or your shield won't regen. If you get 1v1, and try and sprint away they can just chase you down for an easy kill.

This is a bait post. It has to be.
Not like Halo had much aiming skills to begin with.
It allows for varied combat. If they still have stuff like Team BRs, I'm all for it, just don't make autos useless again.

Agreed. Game is ded. They are putting out a beta a year early with limited game types to test out and balance. Are you expecting everything to be perfectly balanced now?

None of my clips are being published to upload studios. I had a glitch with sprint and told tashi about it on twitter and he said the clip would be great. Anyone had this problem?

It's not even that though. It's the large sight lines that accommodate sprint, not being able to run and gun, and the general encounter design balanced around it and the thruster. It just doesn't work.
I'm using the Halo 4 scheme right now.
Only tried Bumper Jumper and it works pretty well.
Not even going to bother learning the others.

Using default before I mess around with other settings, would prefer melee as B and boost as RB though.
i hope someone makes a population graph showing definitively how sprint once again killed halo

I hate to admit it, but I am warming to the ADS too. I haven't seen sprint impact matches enough to form an opinion on that just yet, but I'm love the jet dash thing for evasion.
Halo 4 is the only true answer.
Hopefully a pie-chart will be included to show amount of fun with sprint and amount of fun without it.

Tip for EU players. When you start a game. Throw a grenade, and if there is a slight delay on the grenade leaving your hand. You are playing out of region. After the match, exit to the menu and research... You will find a euro server eventually.

I use bumper jumper in MCC, but I felt that it translated very poorly to 5.

Nope. Default thrusters.
Game is Halo, game is definitely good. Don't go around saying people have low standards because you don't like it.
Both snipers are equal distance from both spawns. The map is symmetrical.

I guess I need to try that out when I get home. Been using Recon and struggling a bit. Does the Halo 4 scheme have B for melee and left trigger for grenades?
how so? thrusters are easy to use on x. i guess the stabalizers and ground and pound is difficult, but i dont use them (and actually disabled the "automatic" stabalizers in the options)
