Halo 5: Guardians |OT3| Ball Dropped

Is it? I'm certain that in 4v4 playlists in Halo 3 teams of four would only play other teams of four with the very occasional exception of a to4 being pitted against a team of three and one random. If you go and play Halo 3 MLG or Team Slayer now this is still the case to this day, I believe. If you have evidence to the contrary I'd be interested to see it.

And teams stomping randoms in social has happened in Halo MM since time immemorial but it does seem to happen in Halo 5 a little more frequently, speaking anecdotally of course. The higher the player count the more pronounced the issue becomes which is why Warzone could do with a tightening on pre made party matching, say, if in a team of five or more the other team has to have a similar pre made party number with randoms filling in the gaps.

At the start of Halo 3 it wasnt as widespread because of the population counter, it was so high that the MM in Ranked could have that flexibility of doing more suitable matches, once, in the case of MLG playlist, I got more reduced (bellow 14k) you would get paired with teams just as easy, like you said the game did had ways to show you it was against a team. In Halo Reach MLG the MM against team got bad, just as "bad" as Halo 5 is.

Evidence is maybe imposible to use based on game history, but, like i said I got to MLG 43 (i could be wrong it could be lower) playing solo, so I remember very well how I saw that one Bar in the opposing team, also, the higher the level the easier it was to find a team, remember that Halo 3 had the option to party up as well, so a lot of randoms could go into Halo and actually make a team in the post game report, I think Halo is missing such option.

Also, you got it wrong, the larger the player base the less likely you get to play against a team.

Why do people play without mics?

I used to be silent, but I find having information about player locations is more crucial than skill since the maps aren't really designed the same way as the previous Halos.

Because I got tired of randoms beeen bigots when they Heard my english accent, forever that has frustrated me in never say a word in MM with randoms, Im too old to hear kids spew stupidity just because they wanted me out of their country. (Now and them i do talk but is rare)

So I'm staying at a casino in Reno and just tried to sign into their complimentary WiFi and in my list of available wifi's is "FBI surveillance van". Greatest troll or stupidest oversight ever?

Literally older than the Internet.

It doesn't take a genius to realize BTB would be a million times better with pistol starts. The BR is way too accurate and easy to use to have 8 of them going at all times, lol.

I wish they would add REQ packs you can buy to refill the cards you already have.
I want more of my legendary cards but I don't want to buy gold packs because I've already unlocked everything.

Edit: I'm a dumby, gold backs give you back lots of RP

Wouldn't the gold packs technically only set you back 4000RP due to you getting two 3000RP cards in each one?

You misread me. When I say player count I'm referring to Warzone being 12v12, not the game's population. Also Reach MLG was social, not ranked so of course there was no party matching. In Halo 3 you never played teams solo unless it gave you a pre made team of three for yourself, so I'm sorry but you're wrong about that as well. In Halo 5 ranked teams of four can play random 1's and 2's; that never happened in Halo 3, fact.

RIP other teams. Last two matches were 1000-78 and 1000-47.

GG's everyone.

OH man, I've lost that session... Too bad you played regular warzone, I prefer it a lot compared to WZA :(

Invite me whenever again you see me online on XBL and going to party up next times :)

(I'm also in the queue to HaloGAF...)

Just had some amazing games in Team Arena this morning. I finally got my accuracy back up. Went in solo. Eveyone ran into had mics. I jointed several teams of four. All of my matches were also against teams of four. Never had a quitter ruin things...

It was purely Halo as its meant to be played.

I see a lot of posts about quitters here and I have no doubt that they happen but I rarely see quitting in the games I play and when I do it's almost always at the end of a game where the result is all but settled. I usually place around high plat/low diamond. From my experience, the harsh quit penalties appear to be working. It's definitely prevented me from quitting maps I rather wouldn't play but it also helps that most map/gametypes in this game have decent settings.

What's the highest someone here has gone solo on Arena? I think I might be able to push to low Plats but from there I don't think I can carry a team upwards alone.

High gold / low plat is kind of a weird in between spot where you start to be too good to just solo but too bad to get to a decent SC.

I'm 5% off plat 6 atm. Gonna tryhard next time I play in a push for Diamond.

A few of us have gotten Diamond solo. It's just aggravating at times.
