Okay. I just unlocked it early this morning and haven't had a chance to try it. I would think it would have to ohk enemies; what more damage could it do after a normal one takes out shields and puts them near death? But then again, The ohk from a speed boosted SC was such a big deal for some, despite seeming like it should be a normal thing to me.

Probably because they're used to playing the server connection lottery, just like we do when we're forced to play against them all the time. Why pistol when it's a 50/50 whether your shots will actually register?

Looked it up; Exwife is right, at least according to Waypoint kids, making it super pointless.

IIRC it doesn't. You need a damage boost to 1hk Spartan Charge.

Re: ARs, yeah, they are lethal in close range, especially when you pulse fire.

It use to make SC a 1hk, but that was changed fairly quickly. Around update 1 or 2. I use to use it all the time, it was my first armor mod unlock.
Well I guess I know to never bother with the Increased Strength armor mod then. It is supposed to have more range but that doesn't do me any good when every SC I go never results in a kill. I land quite a bit of them but the enemy is able to pump enough bullets into me to kill me before I can get the head shot or melee. I'm glad it was the last one to unlock. But my go-to mod, Wheelman, has been seeing a lot less use now. It used to be what I would equip as soon as I hit Lvl 5 but now I'm usually already in a vehicle by 6 and I'm sure as hell not going to hop out and equip it.


Others are right though, it does seem like there is a ton of AR use in this Mexican event. It's interesting to watch an event where the participants all have a slightly different playstyle than what we saw at, say, Vegas.

Unless you're going for the back smack I tend to have pretty terrible effectiveness with SC compared to people using it against me.

You're probably better off using the speed mod.

EDIT: Related to Karl's post ^^^ I predicted we'd finish around June just based on a rough estimate of a couple commendations during the first week of December...

Somehow I had hoped our lot would have improved by now :/

Assuming more people go for Warzone to finish it off when we're close I imagine we can shave a few weeks off that time.

I am aiming for +100 marines a day. We need people to play Warzone to get that done in a reasonable time.

Trying for at least 50, personally. Mostly it's a lot easier if we group up, although probably from a pure efficiency standpoint multiple company teams searching Warzone is faster than one big lobby.

In a perfect world, our lobbies would match each other and just keep killing marines indefinitely in a single match.

I'm not going to reach SR152 before Halo 6 releases at the rate I'm getting xp at the moment. I'm probably going to take a bit of a break from grinding xp for now and I will now just focus on getting that timmy helmet.

halo 5 SR system sucks compared to previous games...shit tier rewards

hope 343 improves alot in H6
-BtB dev maps
-leveling system improved
-daily/weekly/montly(?) challenges
-classic firefight
-solid dlc arena maps...
-no more "waiting for REQs to load 10 hours"
-UI...

and something i would like to see balance wise if they don't remove spartan charge then at least make it so whenever you use SC your thrusters are locked on cooldown and vice versa

I love the Halo Wars 2 Menu.
Its So clean and fast. Challenges in place. The lobby is also great. You can see the players you are up against in the loading screen.

It is A halo UI.
