This may be a question that you may not want to or may not be able to answer (if so, I understand), but when did the idea of putting all Halo titles in one package with all their respective multiplayers together come about?

But seriously I expect one of the Anniversary variants to be Coagulation as that's the map that would have enough space to make Halo 2 Forge Maps a thing that would actually be useful. They could also pull a Forge Island with a Relic Anniversary.

I do wonder most about the newest prologue and epilogue to Halo 2. Sounds exciting. That, actually, has me more interested than anything else in TMCC. And Terminals!

Me, too. Especially with the Halo 5 tease, I'm hoping that's going to resemble something close to the prologue and epilogue with Arby's being involved.
Were clans in Halo 2 Vista? Because if not, then I wouldn't expect them in H2A. I probably wouldn't expect clans either way.
It would be sweet if 343i could remake any &all of the single player / multiplayer levels that got axed from the original Halo 2, release them in a single DLC for $14.99 or something like that.

I still remember when Team Doubles first launched, I won the first match on Ivory Tower with a random. Few days later, going in with randoms was suicide - but damn TD was satisfying with proper teamwork.
Also question: I read the OP and what confused me was that the remade H2 maps ran on the current engine...does that mean it won't play exactly like H2? Or is it still exactly the same with different visuals? Hopefully the latter.

I think Frank has clarified (on Giantbomb last night) that the Prologue and Epilogue will be before Halo CE, and after Halo 4, respectively. To me, that's even more interesting. With that teaser trailer from E3 presser in mind, I'm guessing the whole MC collection will be framed by this Agent Locke character either observing or "living" through Chief's campaigns through Halo 1-4 in some way. Terminals are also VERY exciting (hope they talk about that spaceship from the CEA terminals).

Certain armors will be non-existent without access to specializations, and specializations won't work without access to the SR ranking system.
Were ranks technically included with the games at their launches? Halo 3 has the experience-based playlist ranks that were implemented later on.

SR was a progression system, not the same thing as 1-50 of H2 & H3 and the CSR system of H4.
I'm wondering this too. I'm on the fence as to whether to get an XBone for my bday next month, or to get a gift card and wait to purchase a possible Special Console/ bundle in the fall.
I was totally not interested in next-gen gaming and leaning towards a PS4 if I did join in, but this MCC has changed my mind. I'll be getting an Xbox One for this alone.

Actual question: How is the Anniversary version of Halo 2 MP integrated into hoppers? From what I understand the six anny maps are basically Halo 2 built in a modified version of the Halo 4 engine? So, will those be treated as "Halo 2" along with the actual Halo 2 engine MP and maps, or will they be their own separate thing?

I'm just picturing a buy what you want digital only Halo Wars. Basically Killer Instinct. Buy the various different factions. A free rotating factions. Steady updates throughout the years with new maps.
It'd probably be an unpopular decision at first, like Killer Instinct was, but I think it could work and succeed. I think it'd be better doing this than going for a full scale AAA Retail Halo Wars that wont sell that well, like the first game. Of course iron out details and everything. Not a F2P model like you see on mobile or something. Base it entirely off Killer Instinct.
