Halo MCC's 20gb day-one patch is live

I'm in CET +1, but I have set my Xbox One to US and I think the timezone is set to UTC -5.
Still waiting.
Mine started after I turned the console off. Couple of minutes later I heard it boot into the background downloading mode, when I turned it on after half an hour it was at 93 %. Now it's done.

Shit so this comes out Tuesday, right? I preordered it at target and I'm semi interested in the b2g1 promotion and I get a $5 gift card for my preorder. Not sure if it's worth $5 and a potential b2g1 deal when I can download and patch and play halo 3 immediately.

Wow it's gone up 1% since I turned xbox on back to standby it is then.

Still no update for me, I've put my console in rest mode a few times and still nothing.
The size of this patch really pisses me off. I specifically buy disc games because I have a small monthly bandwidth cap. Using 15 GB on a patch for a game I bought on disc is really annoying.
I really think developers still aren't considering that this can be a huge chunk of someones monthly bandwidth, to the point where they will have to limit other online activities just to download a patch.

I did the same as well. Mine was stuck forever in "Updating", yet from a Gb standpoint was fully installed. I decided to delete the file and start downloading all over again.
I setup my Xbox to not turn off, and then turned my TV off, and it's been sitting that was the past hour or two. Plan on checking on it later on this afternoon, and crossing my fingers it will be completed downloaded and ready to go. I want NO SURPRISES come 11/11, which is why I decided to go digital for this game vs. physical.

In my case I didn't subscribe to Gold. I did my online gaming on PS3 last gen, and it was until Blops that I discovered the joy of online multiplayer.

Will do! And I have to say that this collection is the game(s) I'm looking forworard the most this gen till now. I mean, its like a new game to me, and Ive never played Halo because never had the opportunnity (never had an Xbox before and neither knew someone next to me who had).

Mine downloaded overnight while in standby. I'm at 59.1 gb, but it uninstalled my skull preorder bonus. I reinstalled it and i'm good to go.
If you haven't gotten it yet, I wouldn't worry right now. The game doesn't release for a few days, so you'll get it eventually.

Dude, mine said "Updating..100%" for like 2 hours last night. I just went to bed and left it and when I checked this morning it was done. Be patient

Took me days to download Halo MCC's 40+ GB, partially because of my shitty U-verse speed, but mainly because it seemed to reset every time my XBone went into sleep mode, even though I had set it to continue downloading. I ended up having to just leave it fully on for two almost days. I assume it has something to do with my wireless modem. Anyway as soon as I get home I'm going to turn on the XBone and leave it on til the patch is in.

That is one of the issues. You can't really force the download, it has to begin downloading in sleep mode.
