So anyone know if you can Scope with the Silenced SMG in the H2A:MP
Foolishly I assumed it wasn't the ODST version and instead was the H2V version.
I seen you can dual wield it from the Bloodline showcase by Max but when he scoped he tried when Dual Wielding and it seems silly that this would be a feature.

Can you do a Skype group chat?
Haven't tried that, but I think it would be possible. Party Chat is the only thing I've found affected by strict NAT.

343 should really data mine the shit out of the armor that people use in MCC, frankly every armor perm ever needs to be on the table, and just drop armors that get 1%~ use or something (DLC). Remaking entire levels, sure I can understand leaving some out, but remaking armor perms, come on, they need the entire lineage.
Not shipping MK V with Halo 4 was (non-hyperbole incoming) a spit in the face.

Haven't played any Halo since the week 4 came out. After a couple years of playing other shooters i'm hoping my skills haven't degraded too much. I used to be pretty good at Halo 3, I expect i'll get destroyed for a while in MCC.
I haven't played one properly for some time. I'll be glad to shoot some Spartans again.

in the end I don't care about review scores and that comment was just a means of expressing my excitement for the collection. That being said, there will be a shitstorm when ign ends up giving the MCC an 8/10 because the gameplay is old while at the same time giving TLOU R a 10, further fueling the fire that is the butthurt war between consoles and the whole internet hating the xbone thing. Seeing 343 put in all this work to please us only to receive 7s and 8s is slightly disheartening.
Might as well cancel Halo 5.
Actually, just give up on the entire Xbox franchise.
Maybe close Microsoft just to be sure.
I agree that a bunch of low review scores would kinda suck.
However you can't really use the "old gameplay" argument when comparing it to TLOU. Most of the games in the MCC are old, TLOU isn't old at all.

I wonder how they will review this game. Each of the games easily got above 9/10 scores when they launched. Most of the games have been remastered. All new stuff has been added, new unified menu, etc.
There is nothing really to detract from regarding the collection. I honestly don't care what they'll give it, it's just interesting to think about what they'll give the game.

Seriously though, I'm expecting it to review decently but not get straight 10s or anything. Reviews don't really matter, but they do always seem weirdly down on re-releases. TLoU is the only one I can think of that's ever got scores in-line with it's original release, they usually come in a few notches lower.

And this isn't 2007 anymore; some people (openly) no longer like Halo. In fact AAA games have been receiving the shaft recently. A lot more 6/10s for games that get 80+ Metascores.

After watching the streams I have one major complaint about Halo 2 A that I hope 343i take into account with Halo 5G.
The missions Gravemind, Uprising and High Charity are some of my favorite missions in Halo. Most of the timeless stuff in these missions has been improved with the gorgeous visuals and better audio. Back in the day, this missions were atmospheric as hell.
Great environments, brilliant music... the Covenant breaking around the Master Chief... all added to a melancholy and brilliant mood.
However, the music in these levels plays a lot less frequently in the Anniversary mode. Moments that initially had very solemn tracks that added to the atmopshere are now dead silent. I can see myself switching to classic on Gravemind quite frequently just so the music keeps playing.
Music is a huge part of Halo's atmosphere, IMO. It should play frequently and hopefully will in Halo 5.

Halo 5 armours look damn good so far. I cannot wait to see the first gameplay. Gonna be a lot of fun.
btw. I thought the Halo 2 Anniversary documentary was good, but it did not go into the development than I hoped. It was a great piece of marketing. Halo 2's and Halo 3's making of videos are still superior and I hope 343i will go along that route with Halo 5: Guardians.

Post it. You are not the guy who's breaking the embargo and no one on GAF will ban you for that. The only thing, you risks, is that the video will be taking down much faster.
If you aren't the one breaking the embargo, I don't see why not.
