Okay, this is beautiful. Good job guys, seriously.Ummm....

Is the halo reference the one that says "too many cooks"??Ummm....

could you slurp any harder
Actually think it's a great balancing mechanic. If you run from a fight, you do so knowing that you are more vulnerable than you otherwise might be.
how many people live in the us anyway?
Huh?It's ADS visually, not mechanically.
Let me get some of that slurp.- Sprint confirmed.
- ADS confirmed (not)
- ADS un-confirmed
- Descope confirmed
People now largely not mad.
+ Sprint.Spartan Abilities still sound like pure nonsense
Right, because...He didn't say ADS wasn't in the game.
If it's not in the game, then it's a simple tweet saying, "Calm down folks, ADS isn't in Halo 5, and nor will it ever be, it doesn't fit."
Pretty simple tweet to say right? Will he say it? Probably not..
Halo 5 beta gameplay leaked showing ADS on the BR. Everything went downhill, the salt mines overflowed. Then, during damage control, Josh said that it's only some kind of weird hybrid visual ADS, that descoping exists, and that movement won't be affected and that hip fire accuracy remains.
Basically it's ADS but it's supposedly not ADS.
Because, it's ADS. Only here can a clip be show aiming down sights and people say it isn't ADS.so if ADS doesn't do what ADS is supposed to do...
why did they change the scope animation?
Is the halo reference the one that says "too many cooks"??
Ugh. I guess that strategy is out of the question then.
Everyone in here just needs to make sure to play the halo 5 beta and leave well thought out, coherent feedback on the things that you don't like and feel do not belong in halo. If those things are not changed by release, don't buy the game and continue playing the master chief collection.
Simple.
Need confirmation zooming in doesn't slow down aiming to babby mode and there's no penalty to jumping while scoped like there is in destiny

It's functionally no different than scope. It does not affect gameplay differently than scope.Because, it's ADS. Only here can a clip be show aiming down sights and people say it isn't ADS.

There's a fucking huge difference between pretty much what we already had, and CoD style ADS.
Omg kill streaks in Halo 5. Why?

Maybe if the posters of neogaf stopped expressing themselves like 12 year olds, the so called "feedback" from this site would be taken a bit more seriously. But alas, internet gonna internet.Haha, hahaha.
That is never ever going to happen.

Just stirring the pot a little bit.
2. Aim down sights - holding the LT/L2/Right Mouse raises the weapon up to your eye level and you look through the iron sights of the weapon, or any optical attachment you may equip onto your weapon. Firing while ADSing makes your bullets fire in a straight line down range into whatever target you lay your sights on.
Just stirring the pot a little bit.
I couldn't help it.
Yeah, Pistol is OP.
No I mean the movement speed of the reticle while aimed.
Yeah, Pistol is OP.

This is driving me crazy. . When you scope in you can see the gun and iron sights. What does the speed in which it takes to scope matter?
In Halo, you got more of a zoom with the BR.
From a CoD wiki:
Whether hip fire is as damaging or not doesn't matter to me, it's ADS. The player scopes in looking down his sight for a straight, aimed shot. How is this not ADS?
