ooof, there is no way Halo 5 will run at 60 FPS and 1080p with more than 16 players, hell probably 12 will be the max. Goobers dreaming for some epic 32 player BTB mode like Kampfeld (or whatever his name was) was BS'ing about, are delusional.

Strongholds could be a lot better without motion tracker and having these powerful grenades land right at your feet with camping enemies defending bases.
I predict the same for other Objective gametypes. With this powerful sandbox, having motion tracker is going to be painfullll..

So I found the heretic skull like a month ago and now I can't unlock the achievement for it. I have the achievement for finding all of the halo 3 mythic map pack skulls though.

Ugh, this is the real shame of it. These games will go unplayed because of the bad launch experience. Halo 2 feels pretty close to how I remember, but being based on the PC version it's just slightly off.
I think they killed any chance MCC had at having a reliable playerbase. At least there's always campaigns.

Strongholds needs no radar for sure if pugs are going to stand a chance against actual teams. I don't mind a team holding two bases and then setting up. What I don't like is that they can setup and just watch motion trackers. They can react to danger before it even happens. Seems one sided in that regard.

Who wants to play Halo 5?
Play 9 games of Stronghold with my brother. We go 9-0.
Searching for game 10, we get split. It puts him in a match while I still see myself searching with him. He goes on to win that match. He's placed in Pro.
We reconvene and play another match to finish my placements. We lose to some pretty good players. 9-1 record, I'm placed in Silver I.
Not complaining, but damn that is more variation than I expected

Alright guys, time for the 180...but it's all dependent on power ups on static timers like the power weapons.
Pegasus, holy shit...this is fucking Halo. The map feels like Quake with its ramps, levels and atriums...my god I'm in love with this map.
There is a pillar that's to the right of the rocket spawn area, you can jump normally I think to it, but sprinting and thrust jumping helps you get to it better, that's a perfect placement for a camo or overshield.
Pegasus has rockets and snipe...two powerful weapons, and I'd argue the light rifle is also a power weapon, when zoomed in, on that map, holy shit it's amazing, three-shot kill I believe?
Man, I'm giddy for this map.
On top of this amazing map, the starting weapons, please do not change them for full release, across the board, default weapons need to be AR/BR...hands down it's pretty much perfect. Though I think the pistol was awesome, maybe it can be a vital pick up on the map, but it needs to be something like a three-shot kill, it needs to kill faster than a BR or AR but not have the range of a BR...when scoped.
Seriously, I'd buy Halo 5 right now if all it was was Pegasus 24.7

I'm thinking the rockets spawn 60 seconds or 90 seconds, I can't tell, as well as the snipe, it seemed like a 2 min static spawn, and for a map like that with the lines of sight, I'd agree it needs a longer spawn time, 2 mins is good. The rockets should spawn every 60 seconds though, that way on the second min when the snipe spawns, there will also be another rocket up for grabs.

Anyone playing have an extra spot open?
Under my brothers, obv. I wanna say Positive in four games by a narrow margin, positive in three by a 5~ kill margin, negative by 1-2 in two and destroyed in the last game.
My brother was positive in pretty much all games by 5-7, and also got destroyed in last game (but he was placed by then)
I knew it would factor since it did the same in Slayer (he got Onyx 3, I got silver 3). I didn't expect this to be larger in difference by two magnitudes though.

So I went out to buy some Vodka and ended up getting some 100 proof Smirnoff.
When I got home and opened it my roommate noticed something. Turns out I bought espresso flavored vodka. Tried it with orange juice and a strawberry margarita mix. It's like drinking a fruit drink and then immediately taking a swig of espresso. Though it's not really bad. Just weird.
Any suggestions?
