What are you talking about? That voice is EXTREEEEEME!
Oh you guys and your inside jokes. So cute
What are you talking about? That voice is EXTREEEEEME!
Does the gametype say "M-Slayer BR"?
Is this H4 music?Gameplay video (I think it's just recycled video though - hmm music?)

No beta = no community feedback during production = better game. Betas are costly in terms of development economics, and sheer time. In my opinion they aren't worth the effort, if you're going to ship a game that can be maintained.
I see some ghosting, unless that is just a result of the video.
Please tell me that's LCD ghosting and not Temporal AA..

Explain the joke, unless dasthejoke.jpgTashi Ceiling is a joke
Joke, right?
We are not using temporal AI. That ghosting appears to be an artifact of the video.
You know I love you right?
Halo with a ChromeHounds war, played out by Red Vs Blue Vs Yellow for world domination.

That's an armour ability or perk in the very top left, right?Better screen of the "Grenadier" loadout.

So much to be 'splained.
Will you use any AA?
Don't know about the Metroid stuff, but one F. O'Connor confirmed elsewhere (can't remember where), that the door-yanking is player controlled.Random speculation:
From the video, there's a shot of the Chief pulling open a door in first person. I wonder if that's a scripted moment or gameplay. And if it's gameplay, whether sealed doorways such as those can all be opened, or if we need to upgrade certain abilities to open some of them (IIRC, there are Metroid folks on staff).
It would be glorious, POE multiplayer games are the way of the future

I like to think developers know better than fans when it comes to making good games.Joke, right?

Either way I'm lost.
One or two things about the art style and HUD don't seem quite 'Halo', but I'm sure they'll grow on me. On the technical side, it's about as good as we could have reasonably hoped for, provided all else about Halo remains equal (large environments, plenty of foes, glorious skyboxes, saved films). 60fps would have been icing, but I was never honestly expecting it.Native 720p and AA?
Thank you based 343!
Even if it was Red Vs Blue, split into Clans from each faction. Have a battle on that map, win and gain more territory. Calculate all the wins and losses for the day, assign the territory.
Kill Red/Blue, Acquire Currency.

Players don't know what they want, it's that simple.
Maybe armor unlocks to the winning side of each war as well?
Would be cool but we know next to nothing about MP right now, but its fun to think of possibilities.
Clan emblems on scoreboards?
SCOREBOARDS?!
Holy moly this game... THIS GAME!

Frankie made it up to tease me. I deflected it, ran with it and teased everyone else. Sorry :/
lolz
Also, I can't wait to find jumps that let me climb on the mech on Warhouse. Gonna poopy on kids.

The idea of different Spartan factions fighting over for political reasons ala invasion gave a huge boner.
I was thinking it's either the emblem of the top scorer on each team, or it's placeholder for the eventual "logos" of the factions for multplayer. Think the Snake/Hawk emblems on the bases on Coagulation.
Oh okay. :xFrankie made it up to tease me. I deflected it, ran with it and teased everyone else. Sorry :/

Except Reach beta proves you wrong. Not that 343 is Bungie.I like to think developers know better than fans when it comes to making good games.

Is this H4 music?
Either way I'm digging it.
Yes.
Funnily enough, this is sort of what my dissertation is about.Well, it seems as though 343 made a list of the desires of the majority here and presumably at MLG and went through it point by point. Not that I blame them, but there is a give and take element that is unavoidable based on the consumer nature of the media.
In this case, I think the Halo Community does know what it wants.
That would be awesome. Like CH, being able to get faction and area specific parts to customize your Spartan would be an interesting idea.
343i said they had a more interesting reason for Red and Blue fighting.

Where was this mentioned?
You like Invasion?
Will there be a direct download for the XBL marketplace with the BTS video? I want this on my TV!
