A lot of companies do this, and it's a good thing.
Yep. You guys don't have to hate everything.

Has anyone tried to play H3 matchmaking today? It is not letting me load playlists, it was fine last night though.
how can you even stand to play. the game is so laggy.
Who says I hated it? I just wanted to know what it was, and stated I'd rather not give MS my phone number.Yep. You guys don't have to hate everything.

Hmm, well apparently no one can understand what I am saying and keep thinking I'm taking shots at Bungie.
So you all are 100% assured that Destiny will be the best thing ever made, and top Halo in all regards? Am I not right to hold back some hype because Bungie's been on Halo for 10 years and nothing else?
Should I not wonder if they can do it again?
I apologize if it's coming off (through text) like I'm throwing them under the bus. Far from it. Bungie is on my short list of all-time favorite developers. I'm just not ready to confirm Destiny as the second-coming of Halo.
It wouldn't work for 8v8 either. Works for nothing, surprise.god I hate the Halo community .. HEY LET'S VOTE COMPLEX, IT WORKS SO WELL IN 4vs4

Yup. Hell even Oni was damn fun and it was made in a very very volatile time in Bungie's History. I to this day long for a proper sequel to that game.
All I remember about that map and Spartan Ops is them dropping off a large group of enemies near the blue flag spawn. Most of which just stood there with braindead AI (didn't react to shots, or move). Ragnarok was the same way. Great mode that turned out to be.Worked pretty well for that Spartan Ops episode...

Yep. We should be asking for it, not complaining it's being given to us.A lot of companies do this, and it's a good thing.

Yeah, not a fan of ONI.
I played Marathon a while back (around H2 release) and enjoyed it. Trying to get the Marathon trilogy running on 10.8.2, no luck. App just crashes my computer.
I know there are quite a few Bioshock fans on here.
The opening few minutes of Bioshock Infinite.
Obvious spoiler warning, it's looking fantastic.
Servers seem to be down.
Surprisingly the search filter for "Good Connection" works. At least for me, anyway.
I remember when I first played it when I was like 6 I got stuck on the tutorial because I didn't know what button L3 was...
I'll give you those. I just wonder if in a post-CoD4 world if there's any series that can top that juggernaut.
The game didn't control too wonderfully on PC either, so I was always curious to get my hands on a PS2 copy to try. I mean, it was fine for the most part, but then out of nowhere you'll get an instant death platforming section with a character that has movement not acclimated towards platforming at all.ONI controlled like shit on PS2 from what I remember.

I remember a while back some people on here were wondering why Bungie never changed the "flailing falling" animation. Dead bodies don't flail their arms as they're falling through the sky, so why keep it like that?
For my review of Halo 4, I've been playing the past games to compare feedback, and I now realize that not changing it wasn't laziness on Bungie's part or an oft-repeated mistake. One pillar of the thirty seconds of fun is having exaggerated to the point of being comical audio, visual, and gameplay feedback. I'm talking about campaign here, but feedback is still important in MP.
Watching a guy flailing his arms as he falls through the air is a lot more fun than a falling limp body.
I don't remember if Halo 4 has the flailing animation, but it's just a thought I had.
This game will be good. So excited.

Fan thing for Majora's.What is this?

I can't say I was impressed with the gameplay clip shown at the VGAs, it seemed all over the place. I still have Bioshock 2 in the backlog though so I won't be playing Infinite anytime soon.

End of the world. Grab your magical woodwind instruments because we're in for a wild ride.

I loved Bioshock. 2 was good but nowhere near as good as the first. Is 1999 mode some sort of hardcore mode? The original Bioshock was a bit disappointment but I hope 1999 mode delivers.
A day or two ago. When the hell did you change your username?
The environments in Bioshock are aways awesome. When the sky turns red and you hear the horns, Close Encounters of the Third Kind all in my feels.
Despite its commentary on game stories it was a mechanically dumbed down version of System Shock with Spartan Ops style respawning up until they patched in a mode to give you actual deaths.
Haven't played 2 though, but I'm a fan of Steve Gaynor so I always wanted to give Minerva's Den a shot. Maybe when I get a few MS points.Bioshock was excellent and 2 was phenomenal, especially MP.
Yeah, supposedly to make things a bit more SS2-like, but I don't know how they'd do that without implementing a few things exclusive to that mode. Should be interesting, would love for it to deliver on the promise.I loved Bioshock. 2 was good but nowhere near as good as the first. Is 1999 mode some sort of hardcore mode?
You could make a very good argument that Minvera's Den is better than BioShock 2 itself.

I hear this everywhere about Minvera's Den so I bought it and only got about 45 minutes in. Played something else and have yet to go back. I like the premise a lot, does it pick up as it goes?

I had more fun playing Reach a month after release than I have had with 4. I barely have any motivation to play the game. That wasn't a problem with Reach till after a half year of playing.
Maybe I'm just getting tired of Halo's gameplay, but I think it's the direction Halo multiplayer is taking.
