Hope he gets better. I couldn't deal with a pet because I cried when my goldfish died as a kid, can't get attached to anything cute.

Its kind of like having specific loadouts for different game senarios. Eg. I have a loadout specific for BTB that has plasma pistol and plasma nades so that I can combat vehicles on foot.

Neat truck, ugly cross-promotion. Didn't/won't watch the video, but I'll be shocked if the Virgin logo (lol, the irony) doesn't show up somewhere on that truck.
The only reason to keep a bird in the house is if you hate them and want to torture them with not being able to fly.

I got my first bird from my uncle, it was then still very young. It wasnt exactly for me, it was for my nephew. We decided to keep it after having him for a couple of days. Later found out that it has some birth defects, like not being able to fully grow out its wings. Doctors said to off him, but we did not have the heart to do it. Kept feeding and taking care of him. He preserved and weve had him for five years now. He still cant fly, the hair on his backside wont grown and his wings will not develop. Still even then, he is one happy bird. We only keep him caged when nobody is home (for his safety), but when we are home he usually roams the halls on his own. Usually he is around my father.
The other bird we got was actually going to be offed too before we decided to keep him. Surprisingly the bird bonded well with us. He can fly, but very short distances. Doctor confirmed that the bird sometimes has trouble breathing. Usually that is one of the symptoms that the bird isnt well. However, surprisingly the bird knows when he reaches his limits. Doctor was fascinated by it. Weve had him for three years now and he is still strong. Still have to monitor him from time to time that no other systems arise that might complicate his life.
I agree with you on principle that birds should not be caged, but sometimes there expectations.
People will use it to mean different things. In game design, the Metagame is the overarching game system(s) that encompass the core game. In Halo the core game would be the individual War Games matches and what goes on in them. The Metagame would be the SR ranking system, the commendations, challenges and other longterm goals.
What about a Corgi Husky mix!?

The fact that Microsoft is using Halo 4 as a platform for advertising does not sit well with me at all.
A lot of things would be better if you were descoped while shot.
