I just got my house on Solstheim and it was so awesomely pimped out I haven't stopped grinning since turning the game off a while ago. So great. Took a huge, multi-day investment to prepare for a raid, pulled it off, got a fucking house in return. The feeling of pride, accomplishment and then reward is so great. Now that's an investment system.
Sorry for the detail, but I keep reading posts of frustration at Halo 4, and it's such a contrast from the near constant joy Skyrim brings me. Doesn't really motivate going back....
An entire third act
ZING!

I was looking at the War Games map pass: it says you download them from the in-game store. There isn't an in-game store in Halo 4...
I think it means the Main Menu link to the Marketplace that'll open up in the guide.

Yeah I assumed that's what they meant, but that's not really an in-game store. An in-game store is something like what BF3 has.
How is it not?
The only difference I see is the interface. You can open up the marketplace in-game.

It would make it incredibly cheap, but it would be cool if the boltshot would still fire if you have it charged up max when being killed.
I'd go the opposite way and say Halo 4 without loadouts and all the bs that comes with them would be great
Or just let everyone spawn with both an AR and a BR. I never understood why they didn't just do this across the board.

What are you doing putting these ideas in people's heads?
Wait. You can't share game types at all?
Besides Ghaleon, what are the guys who stopped playing Halo 4 playing now?
I'm about to wrap up ACIII, then it's on to finish OoT 3DS.
Probably got the idea at a Taco Bell.

I'm going to download Aftermath tomorrow I think (I've got Premium, just haven't played BF3 since Halo 4 was released).I went back to bf3 on pc to check the aftermath dlc. I'm having tons of fun with it. I guess it will hold me until this game get patched/fixed.

Heard lots of good things about it, so I'm kinda excited.
Halo 4 can't tell I'm connected to xbox live. I tried signing out and quitting the game. Anyone else having this problem?

If you press start, and go down to network, you should be able to set it to Xbox Live instead of My Xbox. That was happening to me, earlier.
Any eurobros need a specialization code?
I got an extra one.
It's really awesome! Maps layout and design is outstanding. DICE have done a great job in their map packs. They just get better and better.
Worth the premium imo.
Just completed the Campaign on Legendary. I'm glad I only have to go through that again for a few mission specific achievements.
EDIT: Watching the credits, none of the UI designers were in house...
I guess my point was simply that if people here at HaloGAF are going to be dicks, 343 isn't going to listen or continue to interact with us.
I absolutely don't think there is anything wrong with disliking the game and being negative, there's just a line that needs to stop being crossed.
I'd love it if it's still going!
Been wacthing my inbox since the first mention of the Specializations, but it hasn't appeared in my poor innocent UK inbox :"(
The HaloWaypoint website was done by an outside developer too, Cynergy.I noticed that, too. I wonder if they're working on Halo 5...

If you look at their previous layouts, it really looks like they did the major lifting on the Waypoint site.As I understood it, they worked on the stats portion of the app, not necessarily the whole website. Both definitely need improvement.
Nothing too shocking, they even put it up on the website:You have got to be kidding...
I haven't. Dont think I will unless people post some real good gameplay of the new BTB mapsHas anyone else bought the Season Pass?
360 is a multiplat machineFrom another thread:
I'm really interested in finding out how many people bought the pass separate from the Limited Edition. I know that after seeing the first pack, I can say that I definitely wouldn't have bought the pass if I hadn't gotten it that way.
I'd hate to be overly negative... but what did 343i actually do in this game? Weren't multiplayer maps + forge outsourced too?
Going to be interesting to see what happens with Halo 5 now that they presumably have a full team and aren't hiring on the go.
I'm about to right now, lol. I know I know, I'm a slut. And what the heck, I've done heard it all now:I bought it a day after launch when I was overly excited for the game. I had so much faith in 343 =(.
Forge and few maps were outsourced. I believe the rest are 343i.

Oh okay. Just out of curiosity, do you know which maps were outsourced and which were made by 343i? and I take it the upcoming map pack wasn't done by Certain Affinity?
My guess is that Kynan, Mike and 343 multiplayer staff had major input in level layout, so more of a co-op kind of thing.Forge and few maps were outsourced. I believe the rest are 343i.
Haha I'm just trying to do my part for team slurp.Great! Now we will get even more brown maps.
WUBWUB

Of course they worked together. I'm not forge kinda guy, but wouldn't be easier for forgers to have maps with flat surface? From what I have seen they are mostly uneven.
I'm 90% sure that this has been said before (Not directed at you specifically... Also saw a thread about it on Waypoint like it was new). Maybe people missed it?
