Your previous post inspired me to go pop in Halo 3. Sadly, the disc won't load any campaign mission so I ended up just running around Zanzibar for a few minutes before shutting it off Goodnight, sweet prince.

What happened to your discs to cause that? Too much campaign? Or simply too much playing Halo 3 altogether?

Krow and I just played our first game of Doubles. We hadn't played Halo in about 42 days prior to this but dayum this game feels so good to play again. Both got 15 kills to win our first game nicely on Haven. I dunno what the weapon timers are like but it felt like Sticky Det was popping up a lot.

This game is great. It's good to be back!

I think this happened to me with Gears 1. I played it exclusively from emergence day all the way to Halo 3 launch. Almost 3-4 hours a day. It stopped reading the disc for some reason, and I looked there was this huge liquid splotch under the disc like it was inside the DVD. Maybe that was the reason? I had to buy another version.

Woah there, he ALMOST effed his sister. As a former lurker, it's pretty funny reading the love story of OddOne and Elzar, who went from strangers to friends to lovers to marriage (calling Elzar "wife") to divorce, and now you guys are enemies.

I think the power weapons are on the game timer correct? As in it will respawn every 3 minutes on the clock, not from when they're picked up.

Also, Jazzy/Cyren/u4ix/heckfuck, is Monolith as too open as it looks? Seems like a DMR donging ground.

If you quit a Throwdown game you shouldn't be able to search for another mathcmaking game until the game you left has finished.

Yep, they quit so much when they don't get the gametype they want. idk why they don't get objectives out of there. Extraction sucks and CTF has its own playlist already. KOTH belongs in team objective. Even the playlist description is strange.

I have a rough time against all these Sprint/Melee spammers now in team throwdown. Swords need to be removed because of Sprint. You don't really have an chance against a sprinting sword player.

I also miss the radar. When there was no sprint it was a different story but even with radar a sprinter still has an advantage.

When they announced the DMR for Halo 4, everyone was curious and still optimistic. We were all willing to try it out. Well we did (RIP BTB). No DMR and buff the Carbine for Halo 5.

That won't ever happen though. The thing is, when the BR was announced for Halo 4, no one was asking for the DMR to return. When they announced the DMR for Halo 4, everyone was curious and still optimistic. We were all willing to try it out. Well we did. BR only and buff the Carbine for Halo 5.

Honestly it blows my mind that what few people actually run Carbine and Lightrifle in BTB matchmaking actually do so. I mean BR nostalgia I understand, and it has its uses at close range, etc. But DMR is mathematically better in every situation unless I'm missing something.

The only dedicated "Pro" Slayer playlist is Doubles.

The same argument could be made for CTF, Extraction and KOTH. There are 2 other playlists for those gametypes. I want a 4v4 dedicated pro playlist. Isn't that what we all wanted?

Just take CTF v2 and put it in the CTF playlist and let people pick it if they want. Thats why you have so many quitter, you guys are saying every match starts 3v4. Thats because people don't want to play a gamstype they don't want.

I have been saying this all along. I would not give a fuck if infinity was one playlist for casual or what ever to practice up on. They need to bring back all the old Halo playlist and quit injecting infinity into every fucking game type. Team Slayer ranked and Social should be the dominant playlist. Save Halo!
