Still working on the video / animation itself, but here's a logo for you:

It's a Fallen Captain face! It's split into four layers. The forehead crest actually consists of two separate silhouettes, a stylized M and U. Then, there's the eyes and negative space around the face. I was thinking of having it transition from this piece of concept art:

also, I have been working on bringing back headhunter, rocket race, rocket hog race and territories and learning how Megalo works for a while, expect some good news soon and a BIG surprise from me ;)

You got any inside knowledge on when that Guilty Spark program is coming out? I was asking on there (se7ensins) about adding some options to Ricochet but unfortunately they were too busy and suggested I either wait for Guilty Spark or learn Megalo myself. I tried learning Megalo... and well... yeah, I'm not suited for messing with that kind of stuff lol

Well I was trying to make a One Life/Round Based gametype using Ricochet, but the current options don't really help with that too much. It needs an option that allows the attacking team to earn points if they kill the defenders. At the moment, the attackers don't get any points whatsoever if they kill all defenders. They can't run the ball in or throw it, the round just ends. :(

I love it! Oh man, that's cool! Did you know that piece of art you used as reference is actually fan made? Not official? It's so awesome, keep up the hard work man! I am digging it

I have fully playable versions for the four gametypes.

Rocket Race and Rocket Hog Race work just as you remember them, the rotations widget has been removed to not cluster the same region of the HUD with too much text (H4 only allows for one widget position).

Headhunter works as you remember, only FFA for now.

Territories work as you remember it from Reach, instead of a progress bar I put a widget text which says "CAPTURING TERRITORY IN: %n"

Most gametypes retain most of their user defined options, since some sounds don't work in 4 I replaced them with battle feed messages (Ex: destination moved, flags collected...)

Added labels to hide and delete objects to all 4 gametypes.

Keep in mind I'm still improving and optimizing these and will continue to do so before I release them to the public which will hopefully be soon ;)

Still can't believe 343 took away a bunch of customization options from Infection just so they could add a dude from Doom wearing latex who's running around with a big smile on his face.

Have we even seen what the traditional flood looks like from 343? The Halo 4 flood is flood in Spartan form. I never had an issue with the flood Spartans aside from the big dumb arm they had to use for the game type.

Also, Kizingo Boulevard is an awesome mission. I give major props to the Bungie mission designer that worked on it. There are so many intricate ways that it introduces enemies and the layout promotes enemy movement in interesting ways.
 
Master Chief is not Master Chief but instead demoted to Petty Officer. Now John is a Renegade Spartan. Fighting Space Zombies and saving the princess from Mendicant Bias.

I just realized my new apartment is even closer to 343i than my last one.

I'd estimate 25 minutes walking, 3-5 minutes driving. One day I'm gonna go yell at them like an old man yells at clouds, or whatever.

I found interesting how 343i chose the spartan IV to be infested and not the marines.

Probably just because they're the best hosts for the Flood Infection, superhuman capabilities alongside the Flood Infection fortifications equal OP compared to human marines.


It made total sense to me and I don't see why they would've chosen Marines of SIVs, it's also got another cool factor to it compared to just run of the mill infected marines and the Infected in the other games were Spartans.

Most of the ODST missions are. There's one encounter in Kizingo that really stood out to me as I watched one of my roommates play it. There's a circular thing in the middle and a Phantom drops some peeps off on the perimeter roofs and drops a Ghost on the ground. The roofs are connected all over and the enemies will actually flank the player. Jackal snipers will get into some interesting positions if given enough time.

I guess if you're talking about overall level design yeah, I can see the argument that it's nonlinear in its encounter spaces... there are a lot of ways to navigate the city in general, although I wouldn't have picked Kizingo as a sterling example, just because they encourage you to just charge through on a tank.

Hard to tell what of that MS Store description is useful info and what is just marketing regurgitation that might be erroneous or misleading... hmm.

EDIT 2: Honestly, I'm fairly proud of myself. In right at 24 hours I've gained 12 subscribers and 450+ video views on just 2 videos and now I have these two. I feel like I'm gonna do alright with this! :)

They should have made it (or make it in the future) that hitting the right trigger as you catch actually works like a spike or in general just increases the velocity and distance.
