Not going to play? I'm looking to play. Just not certain maps but the gametype doesn't bother me.

I completely understand how I could be annoying a lot of you by openly admitting that I quit games but it's Halo 4. A game basically no one here plays, and if the game had anything else going for it, I wouldn't quit.

For me, the only thing Halo 4 has going for it is the Mongoose. It registers splatters a hell of a lot better than Reach and 3 did (same goes for all vehicles in my experience) and the maps are pretty good for it.

In the end, I dropped £40 on the game and I'm going to get my monies worth. It's selfish but I've finally found a way to play this game.

You're not looking to play. You have the most narrow and selective desire to play I've ever heard about. I can't imagine the games you're in are much fun for the team either. Sounds like you just roll around on a mongoose and are just fodder.

I'm not always a benefit to my team and that's a given but there are plenty of games where I have been a solid part of the team. I do try and pick up flag carriers if I can. I have distracted enemies in a gunfight and gained my team kills. I have knocked off enemy shield and got my team some kills. I've dropped people off at power weapons. I rush at the start to distract the enemy and pulled them away from power weapons, or at least delayed their rush to them. I don't distract everyone though but I hope to lower the number of people making that rush.

I'm not a complete waste of a teammate. I've never received rage messages, or had people complain in game to me on Halo 4. I did in Halo 3, but that's a different beast and it was a lot harder to be anything but fodder.

What do you mean by not looking to play? Play properly? That's the joy of a game like Halo. It has the sandbox to accommodate different styles of play.

No bars or anything like that. Just something I enjoy. I think the only vehicle challenges are all related to destroying them. There's one for splatters but that's in any vehicle, and I think it's only 100.

Relax Nebula players have been playing like you since Halo 2 MM. There were insane drivers in Halo 3 and a leaderboard/community around it with forum threads about driving techniques and team strategies to control missile pods or power drains etc. some went into 28,000 splatters I think and some 50,000 gunning/assists.

Standoff was a favourite for those players. Don't let HaloGAF salt get you down. Again playlists and ranked vs. social or toggles support this diversity.
