Most regulars on that site have already gotten used to the new format. Its definitely a downgrade in a whole lot of ways. Its not all bad though.
I actually think the forum layout is relatively inoffensive. Its not a bad idea grouping all replies in subthreads. It sort of helps streamline discussion and keeps away irrelevant posts from the eyes of someone who is fixated solely on their replies.
The homepage on the other hand...

All of them broke matchmaking unregistered shots, sliding around etc. those host's were awful. Honestly I had people teleporting around and I was killed by thin air somehow :/.

It might depend on your usage, but the Blueprint Bungie.net group was one of the main sources of maps for the Community Cartographers. It had a good signal:noise ratio, the ability to easily stick topics meant people could quickly pull up the guidelines, and it was easy to track a map being updated over time.
Then Bungie.net updated and Blueprint died within a week due to people not being able to sort out where the content was, updates, etc.
Alright, yeah. That sounds pretty bad. Didn't have so much experience with that.
Regardless of whatever minor benefits I feel the new forum layout might have (for me), the pre-destiny layout was undoubtedly superior.

You can advocate modern day holocausts and make threads about 'booty' - essentially objectifying women on a daily basis, but pornhub comments on valentines day cards? Suddenly I get warned for 'offensive content'

Yeah The WorkPLace is the only reason I ever visit b.net anymore. That group is unbelievable with regards to its members. Some of the most genuinely good people I've ever come across on the Internet since... ever. Still going strong over there but the upgrade really hurt private groups all around.
With waypoint being almost unusable, CC got hit pretty hard. Everything is done off-site as far as I know. The forge issues didn't help much either. Those days of Reach test sessions and contest judging were some of the best I've had since I started playing. Some talented guys there too... Been quiet lately though :/

I have been listening to the Halo 4 OST lately. Damn. It is good. So good. Especially the combination of Vol 1 and 2. I like it a lot. Oh gosh at Green And Blue, Never Forget and 117 combo. So good.
That being said, I'm still pissed that 343i hasn't released the one track, they had used for the movie making of trailer.

Yeap. As disappointed as I was with many aspects of the campaign and Spops (especially with how quiet the soundtrack was in the former) Davidge did well.

Just enjoying life, not playing Halo basically.
Got a little boy on the way, due on my 30th birthday, which is awesome. Buying a new house, selling the old house, its all been pretty damn stressful. I've been lurking, just not posting.

Halo 4's music is pretty good track for track, but it's not cohesive, and it doesn't sound very "Halo."
It's also burned out really fast for me. The strong melodies in Halo 4 sounded really strong at first, but now they sound weaker and with not-really-all-that-amazing overall flow. Whereas none of Marty's work has aged a day. And that's despite me playing Bungie's games a hell of a lot more than Halo 4.

Nice man, congrats. My 30th is this year too. Been busy myself... Wedding planning, bought a house... Haven't been playing halo (or really anything) lately either. Waiting for this H2A!!

I played Halo CE in 2004. I didn't actually appreciate the series until 2008 however. The second I got into the universe, I bought the books and purchased and played all the games.
What mode do you spend most of your time in?
I spent most of my time in multiplayer, of course. I have a good bit of time put into the campaigns as well.
What is your favorite playlist?
Depends on the game. MLG is the only thing playable in reach as far as I see right now. Standard Team Slayer was always a go-to in prior games though. Let's not mention 4.

Somewhat confused about what studies I should pursue and where I should go to do them. I've been struggling to decide whether or not I should focus on pharmacology, law or computer sciences. I have an interest in all 3 and finite time, of course.
