Pretty much this. I would be SHOCKED if Halo 4 falls in November. It may be a goal of 343 to knock COD off its high horse but that not this gen. That is Halo 5's job after all the game of the year/generation awards for Halo 4.
MS would never go head to head with any big 3rd party release, let alone COD. It generates more money than Halo to them.

November releases are still doing incredibly well, just look at Skyrim last year. Not to mention Battlefield 3 still sold a butt load in November.

The one thing that makes me nervous is when the guy says "it sill feels like halo, you just have to trust us." I want that statement to be true because I love halo it just brings back memories of bungie's promises from Reach.

Well developers don't set the release date.
The game is stated as "Holiday" release. Although there have been games stated with that release that come out in September, usually it means November.

OT: it was my daughter's birthday today. She wanted this giant plus moose she saw at Costco a while back, but we'd told her it was too big. (She's really into stuff animals.) Well, we got it anyways. I set it up in the living room and grabbed a camera when I heard my wife pull into the driveway with the kids after school.
