Longbow seems like it will be fun for casual gametypes like default CTF or something, Adrift seems like all-around badness, and Haven I'm 50/50 on. It seems okay, but I can't know for certain until I play it myself. There doesn't seem to be much focus or division amongst parts of the map.

I'd go with the opinions of the people who played the maps. If they say they aren't that good, maybe they aren't very good. You can't judge a map from just looking at gameplay from it. I mean, I thought uncaged and reflection would be fun to play on :lol

Reflection is fun to play.

And I'll say it right now, Haven is an amazing map. If I or HaloGAF feels otherwise, then so be it. But that map seems literally perfect in almost every way. A good mix between the feel of Valhalla and Construct imo.

By increasing the font size to such an extreme you actually close off old avenues of user preference as well as alienating your current userbase from the familiar. What would be needed in order to have an air of familiarity while giving users something new would be a middleground, I say font size 11.5. This ensures that those who were already used to the old size would adjust quickly to the new size and the experience would not jar the currently established userbase for the change would be subtle. This would also have a positive effect on net traffic as people would are not looking for new experiences as much as they are looking for refined experiences.

Video games aren't paintings. No one looks at a Caravaggio and says "man if they'd had FXAA and better draw distances it'd be so much better." Newer games deliver better experiences that old games could never hope to create. And Goldeneye, while good for what it was, was still just a good adaptation of a movie (that came out after Turok: Dinosaur Hunter.)

Gears 3 was a great game, I loved the campaign. 4 player co-op on insane was crazy fun, but pretty tough at times. Multiplayer was also a great step up.

I really enjoyed the last vehicle battle in Tsavo Highway. If you don't take out the Wraiths before you're through with all the Choppers, the AI will rendezvous at the hill in the middle – prime real estate. It's hard to get close enough to them without being blasted by their turrets, but far enough away that you'll be able to maneuver out of their mortars line of fire.

This is my second legendary solo run and I'm really enjoying it. There's some dialogue in Legendary that I'm sure isn't in Heroic.

Greatest race on the planet would go to the Isle of Man TT, but I'm biased towards bikes. Le Mans is pretty spectacular though. I'm sure some nerds would say Laguna or Monaco provide better venues but eff that.
