I think that the HLS doesn't actually take damage, and that it can absorb an infinite amount of damage for as long as it's deployed. What we're seeing when it turns orange is the warning that the AA is running out of charge, basically a timer for when the shield goes down. Someone who is playing will have to confirm, obviously. Maybe ask biggy.

Without wanting to open too big an argument, I think the former is awesome, and I'm really, really not a fan of the latter. The first looks like a kickass female Spartan. The latter is elaborately showing off her ass. I know that floats the boat of most around here, but I think it's unfortunate. :\

Yeah, I really like the former, I just linked it because tbh, it's out of the norm to see that revealing of a spartan cosplay hahah.

Also, yeah, I've gotten all the Halos since H3 at midnight launches, was first in line out of about 500 at my mall for H3, got there at 6 PM.

Will hopefully be first for H4, going really early with a few buddies, gonna play thru some campaign and hop into multiplayer afterwards before I go to bed.

Taking off Tues-Sat to get some quality H4 time in :)

Everything I buy this year depends on if I my job get transferred when I move into the dorms at college. Only thing I'm getting for sure is Halo 4 LE. I'll probably get ACIII on Black Friday, and I may get Borderlands 2 as well.

That's not really a "cosplay" because she got paid to wear it and she did not build the armor. :) But yeah I agree. On the other hand she definitely want attention. More than usual cosplayers would get.

If he didn't put the shield up, it would have completely missed. It's a shield, it provides protection. It makes sense that an indirect vehicle collision will do much less damage with the HLS active (since it doesn't kill anyways.) A direct hit that normally results in a splatter will still kill.
I hope.

I found it pretty interesting the shield didn't even take damage from the collision.

I'm gonna have some fun testing out that AA for sure.

Oh god, I bet landing at a certain angle and activating the shield could negate fall damage.
