Halo 2 was released in 2004. So a remake would come out in 2014, if they intend to make it a 10 year anniversary edition. If they even intend to make one.
By that time NextBox has been released... so no more map packs for Halo 4, i reckon.

I'm pretty indifferent about Valhalla, I'm glad they didn't pick Sandtrap or something, but I much would have rather had Containment or Waterworks.

It's been clear those types of maps are not in Halo 4. From my experience, Haven is an excellent arena style map though.

The scale of Halo 4 is simply different, some of the smaller maps sizes from previous games would be a disaster in H4.

Not coming. The smallest maps in the game are Haven/Adrift and they won't get smaller because of Sprint.

It's been fairly apparent from the get go that the inclusion of sprint for everyone was going to require larger maps. Also, objective being 5v5 was also a hint...

Cliff side was supposed to be baked in sunlight with cave side in the dark. Idk why, but after so many years of playing with that lighting, it just felt off and terrible and made me cry inside

Haven, Adrift, Solace and I believe Complex are all symmetrical maps, Haven and Solace definitely being small. So far that's 4, which i believe is more or the same as reach.

Holy shit the flood and spartan IVs look incredible. Still feeling a lil salty about the Knight's lackluster design though, especially when the are going to be the core enemy unit for campaign. This would have been far better

That claw is literally a re-skinned sword. You can still see the sword icon as weapon.
