I'm trying to think about how they're going to make vehicles fun when way more things can stun it. Shortening the pistol's life and the Operator mod will certainly help, but there's still a potential of 8 players with pistols coming after you.

Wait you only get one Pulse? Hmmm... damn. I wonder if you can throw a grenade while your boltshot is charging like you can with the PP. 
That would be awesome cuz you can use the pulse to knock someone's shields down to make your boltshot have a slightly longer effective range.

Dexterity will more than make up for not using Firepower (rather use Mobility) especially when you can carry a headshot-capable Pistol/Mauler as a secondary (Boltshot) ;]

One thing about Halo that has always been great is the vehicle controls. Ever since first hopping in the Hog in Halo 1 I've been hooked. The way the left stick drives and the right stick looks is genius. There have been some changes that I don't like such as: the paper thin vehicles in Reach and the gun overheating. I can't believe that there is a mech in Halo now but I'm not too worried. I am sure the mech will work fine.
