Honestly, I miss strafing from previous Halos. In Reach, I feel in 1v1 encounters, all you have to do is aim and time the shots right. I feel as though strafing was a huge part of 1v1 encounters and my individual game has suffered from that. I can't wait til MLG gets their hands on tweaking game play because I can see them making the base player speed faster than it currently is.
Also, I really wish the Rifles would kill in 1 less shot. The thing I hoped Halo Reach brought back, was the faster game play I loved in Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 (mlg settings for 3). I love sprinting since it does just that, but without it, everything is too slow and the weapon kill times strengthen that slower game play I hate.
The grenades don't really bother me since I know if the speed was faster, I would have time to dodge them and I know other maps won't be like Swordbase/Orbital.
Overall, I'm happy they brought back aiming skill back to Halo with the reduction in auto aim and having single shot weapons present, but the satisfaction one got from out skilling the enemy is sorely missed. The rifle's slow kill time and lack of strafing has hindered individual play one got from previous Halos.
