Halo: Reach |OT6| There Are Those Who Said This Day Would Never Come

I just caught this week's Halo Bulletin and the new Anniversary video. When are they planning on adding bullet decals back in? That whole video consisted of shooting surfaces that don't give any indication that they've just been shot - are they really going to overlook Halo's simple but well executed system for fixing that? Blood was done the same way in Halo 1 (with decals), so I have to hope this is something they're working on and just haven't tied in to the builds they're showing off... right?

That would be terrible, slow kill times are so bad. Pistol needs a slower rate of fire, but the DMR is fine.

Hell I wouldn't mind keeping the DMR zero bloom and pistol 85%

As far as damage bleed through, you shouldn't be able to kill a shielded opponent with one DMR shot. It made sense with a burst gun, but we need a clear indicator if we or another player is one shot.

As far as melee bleedthrough, keep it. Just fix that silly little glitch.

I think its more that Halo 3 fed that information through to the player. With Reach as it was never something that was supposed to ever happen the visual cues just dont exist. Its probably out of the scope of TU's but if they could throw in the visual cues bleedthrough really would be so much better than no bleedthrough.

Ug, sorry to hear that. I hate this feeling of inevitability. I'm not miserable yet, but my throat is letting me know I'm going to be real soon, no matter what.

Holy shit. While this doesn't make any sense, and of course this wasn't intentional, this is my first time seeing how the health and shields behave with the DMR and bleedthrough. I finally understand it better, but I didn't know one shot and a beatdown brought you into red health territory. How does that compare to Halo 3 and the BR? Was it two bursts and a beat down to kill you? Three?

I'm glad my throat isn't hurting (not yet at least). There's no other symptom of being sick that I hate more than my throat hurting. It's horrible. Every time you swallow, eat, drink...ugh.

I got out BR'd in a scrim last night, the worst I could remember. It was embarrassing. I even yelled at my teammate for not coming to help right away. Shit sucked lol.

So I got Star Wars Blue Ray... This is amazing, it comes with 3 other FULL Blue Ray disks of special content, concept art, interviews, you name it... :D

It's the same AI that it had 10 years ago and that got so much praise. How goddamn stupid. I wonder if this site/magazine said the same thing 10 years ago.

If Asylum was a proper remake, it wouldn't be compressed into too small a space, a monotonous grey, filled with frame-rate issues, and it would actually be a good map.

I don't blame them, Halo is always treated as the second lamb here in Germany compared to CoD. :)

I have cold and I have to write three papers. One on Hindu law, which I find really intresting.

But the downside is, less Halo in my life :(

Hopefully they get first so he will be relaxed enough to not only play Reach. I played SR with Ogre 2 a couple years ago, he still had a good shot, other mechanics were a little rusty but he was still good and it was fun.
