Wow, just played a semi-competitive match in Halo, first one in around a few months, man am I way out of focus, I'll need to get back up to my skill level (50) before the beta comes out if I want to own some kids.

Don't know if I'll go through my old film clips to see if I have anything for the montage or not, if I do, I'll post something tomorrow.

I am really sorry to derail the awesome discussion about mp montages and everything (joking xD) bringing up this, but I have a little question about the Halo Encyclopedia.

Kinda OT, but then againg, this has become the HaloGAF thread, so: on amazon uk there are two versions of the halopedia, one of which is stated as "special edition" yet to be released.

Does anyone know what's special about it? What are the extras (they have to be pretty consistent since the price is five times the normal one)?

Probably not the place but since people are sharing clips and the like. I was having a look on my fileshare cause I was thinking of adding something to it and I came across a few cool screens I have on there.

They're from the ODST Mythic contest Bungie had last year, I didn't win anything but it was cool trying to get some nice screenshots. These were defintely two of my favourites, the second one especially. Just thought I'd share.

Though just to clarify: I'm gonna capture all the clips myself (where possible) for the sake of consistency. Bungie Renders are nice, but mostly 640x360 and I'm capturing at a higher ratio. I'm fussy like that. So no need to worry about the clips being rendered fellas.

They did, but it's based on some measure of "artistic merit." As I understand it, they will purge gameplay and montage videos as they see fit. They emptied out my entire collection.
